Before I bought the Bosch, I had another vertical milling machine that worked well only with soft woods. With hard woods, it would only work if you made breaks, for example, 5 minutes of milling followed by 20 breaks. During a large construction project with oak wood, it simply gave up, so I had to get the Bosch. It immediately performed well and because I was behind schedule and knew it had a warranty, I decided to push it to its limits. I milled oak continuously for almost two hours without any problems, without any effort, and without the machine overheating. It did an impeccable job. At one point, I wanted to mill deeper and to avoid damaging the expensive milling bits, I used some cheap and worn-out ones from ****. Despite the fact that the milling machine was not in good condition, it didn't notice anything, no effort and no overheating. I only have one negative thing to say, which I don't know if it's my fault, if it's normal, or if it's a flaw in the machine. After milling for 30-45 minutes, the milling bit needs to be checked and tightened. I don't know why, but so far, the tightening has come loose twice and the milling bit has dropped down. So, I solved the problem by checking and tightening the bit every 20 minutes for safety. It's not a hassle, so I don't consider it a major drawback that would make me remove a star.
