In the beginning, it was working but after a few months, it started disconnecting my 2.5-inch external hard drives - which work perfectly fine with other USB hubs.

1. It does not have any suction cup or anything else on the bottom to hold it steady in place.
2. The provided cable is only 40 centimeters long.
3. Although it states on the packaging that it can work without its provided power supply, only with the computer's USB, it is not true. It definitely requires external power supply.
4. Its power supply provides only 1.5 amps and when I connected an external hard drive, the power supply burned out.
5. It is not compatible with wireless mouse and keyboard.

Very good hub, small, relatively beautiful and durable. It is plastic but of good quality. No creaking or anything.

I have had it for about 4-5 years. At first, I had it on Windows 7 and then on Windows 10. I used to plug a wifi antenna into its side port, which provides a lot of power, and I had no issues. If I plugged it into the front ports, it would have some interruptions.

For the past two years, I have permanently had it on an iMac. Everything is fine and its speeds are excellent.

I would buy it again.

A 10cm cable is provided in the package for you to connect it... to a desktop wherever you connect it, it is useless due to the cable length

Perfect. And most importantly, it does not reduce the speeds of USB3 compared to direct connection. I measured the same speed on the HUB and directly on the port with 2 external hard drives.
18/1/2022: It continues to work flawlessly permanently connected to the PC.

The first usage experience is excellent. I connected it without an external power supply with three external hard drives together and it worked flawlessly.

Both active and passive USB 3.0 hub! Excellent quality. The only thing that didn't satisfy me is when I connect a Transcend USB Card Reader on it, the hub needs its power supply. It doesn't pass power from the original USB 3.0 port of the MacBook Pro.
