Description
The Kingsmith WalkingPad R1 Pro treadmill is designed for those who seek a practical and easy solution for exercising at home or in the office. It is ideal for non-overweight individuals who want to walk or jog at low speeds but do not have enough space for a large treadmill. It is also suitable for people with joint problems, as it features anti-vibration protection.
Space-saving
Brushless Motor
The R1 is equipped with a brand-new brushless motor. The brushless motor can better control noise during workouts while improving the treadmill's maximum load. Additionally, through long-term operation testing, its durability and stability have been enhanced. The treadmill platform is a frequently used area, which is why high-density fiberboard is used to ensure its excellent quality, an EVA absorption layer with a comfortable texture, a smooth layer with a low friction coefficient, and a durable and non-slip running belt.
Remote Control
The R1 Pro changes mode, accelerates/decelerates, and starts/stops with the remote control during exercise, with a small click on the button that allows easy switching, while being free from the complicated buttons found on the dashboard of a traditional treadmill, thus allowing for a safer and more enjoyable workout.
Touch-enabled LED display panel:
The front is made with excellent IML manufacturing technology. With a high-brightness LED panel, the R1 Pro shows the workout status, such as time, speed, and distance, in an elegant way. Simple yet modern.
Complete System
The R1 is characterized by a cast main body made of aluminum alloy, while stability and durability have been improved, making it more durable and stable with a slimmer design.
App Connectivity
The R1 Pro can be connected to an exclusive app and operated via your phone. You can even exercise according to an exclusive fitness program and regularly participate in sports competitions.
Adaptive Speed Control Technology: Kingsmith's patent frees your hands. The pressure sensors embedded in the base of the treadmill monitor the user's step position in real-time and quickly respond to the user's intention, instantly adjusting the speed of the R1 pro. Truly free your hands.
Smart Phone Holder: Have fun while you train. Simply place your iPad or mobile phone in the holder located at the top of the handrails for easy access during your workouts.
Automatic Mode: The speed is automatically controlled by a smart algorithm. It follows the walking speed with a range of 0.5 to 6 km/h. When the R1 Pro operates in mode A, the user does not need to use the remote control. During exercise in the front area, it starts and accelerates automatically; in the middle area, it maintains a constant speed, while in the back area, it slows down and then stops automatically.
Manual Mode: Mode M, which must first be unlocked from beginner mode, is activated with the remote control, the LED touch screen, or the KS app. The maximum speed reaches up to 10 km/h. With greater use for walking and running, it satisfies the user for both a light walk and running exercise.

I haven't run many kilometers on the treadmill, so I can't know about its quality and durability over time. So far, I can confidently say that it is an excellent treadmill with many capabilities, mainly through the mobile application. In the app, you have information about running time, average speed, current speed, running pace, distance, etc. Additionally, it keeps track of overall statistics and creates a program with automatic speed adjustment.
It appears to be very high-quality and sturdy. I would say that the treadmill is a bit narrow, requiring more attention while running, but you get used to it. Despite having a 1.5 Hp motor, it is powerful and does not have any issues. I have run on it at 10 km/h, and I can say that it performs very well, although it is definitely easier than running on the road, like all treadmills. But again, it does its job very well! I did not find it noisy.
As for its dimensions, it takes up very little space when folded, and it can be easily transported on a hard surface (marble, tiles) with its high-quality wheels. It stands upright very stably, occupying minimal space.
The tablet and mobile base is also very practical. Personally, even though it has a small screen on the treadmill itself with basic indicators (time, distance, speed), I use my mobile with the application.
Now I will tell you about a few things that I noticed during its use:
1. When setting it up for the first use, place it on a hard surface and adjust its legs so that it sits well and does not wobble.
2. The treadmill comes with a bottle of silicone oil. Before the first use, you should apply a sufficient amount across the entire width of the belt (on the surface that the belt runs on) and repeat regularly.
3. To operate the treadmill, the safety key that it comes with must be inserted, otherwise it will display the "SAFE" message.
4. From the first use, the belt of the treadmill was slightly off-center, moving towards the left. Inside the packaging, there is an Allen key. At the back, there are two holes where, following the instructions, you turn the screws clockwise or counterclockwise depending on the direction it needs to be adjusted. I turned the left screw less than half a turn clockwise and the right screw less than a quarter turn counterclockwise. It requires attention not to tighten the belt too much.
5. The treadmill has sensors on its surface. When you start the treadmill, you must step on it within the next 10 seconds, otherwise it will close and stop.
6. When it is in standby mode, the operating indicator on the body of the treadmill flashes. To start it, you need to press the button below the + and - buttons on the control panel, which has a symbol resembling "synchronization." Then, press the button located between the + and - buttons on the control panel to start.
I have not used the automatic mode yet.
I hope I have helped you as much as I could

As long as it lasted, it was good! After exactly 4 months, the surface in the front part of the treadmill cracked. The material that broke seems to be MDF. I also bought a mat from the same company to protect it from vibrations and reduce noise. Usage: 3-4 times a week and a distance of 5 kilometers each time. Now we'll see what the warranty means for this specific product.
Update 02/09/2022: Well, the warranty, from what I was told by the store where I bought it, does not cover it, and I find it unreasonable since its usage was always within the manufacturer's specifications. After more than 1 month of communication with the store, we learned that the replacement part costs 120 euros in labor, and I will have to wait another 2+ months. I chose the option of a partial refund. Anyway, I definitely wouldn't buy it again.

It started to sound like a rattle after about 20 hours of use. I weigh 80 kilos and used it for walking. It also only works with a remote control which doesn't work on the first try. I regret the purchase.
Translated from Greek ·Did you find this review helpful?Noise while walking, noise from the motor after an hour of walking at 4.5 speed, the motor is about to catch fire, so did this treadmill get certified? The remote control didn't work for even two months, the bad thing is that I threw away the receipt with the box.....

Did you find this review helpful?War dog!!!
Every day I do 8-10 kilometers!
The app, at least for me, works perfectly without any issues and it suits me better because you can adjust the speed range by 0.1 unlike the treadmill's little computer that goes by 0.5 in manual mode.
A little caution when you are about to center the belt for the first time. Something that is super easy since there is a tab with relevant instructions and an Allen key as well as lubricant.
So far, I needed to center it 2 times. No issues, super easy instructions.
I highly recommend it!Translated from Greek ·Did you find this review helpful? It's very good! I've had it for almost 2 months. The only negative is the remote control it has. At one point, it wasn't working. You had to press it 100 times for it to give a command. After a few days, it fixed itself. This worries me a lot because if it breaks, I don't know what I will do.
Translated from Greek ·Did you find this review helpful?I have changed his lights!!! I use it daily and it has helped me a lot as a supplement for my workout
Translated from Greek ·Did you find this review helpful? No problem. Currently in use. It is easy and quick to store, suitable for small spaces. The opening and initial setup were very easy. The application on the mobile phone doesn't suit me at all, but the screen on the treadmill itself is very helpful to see where you are. It is not completely silent but tolerable. Time will tell more

Did you find this review helpful?2nd Update: The remote worked for 3 uses after I put in the battery and now its back to being useless. This is garbage. Would NEVER order this treadmill again cause of how flimsy the remote is. Without a functioning remote, this treamill is a giant waste of money and space. NEVER AGAIN.
Update: I tried 3 different batteries and the 3rd set of batteries I used made the remote work again. Not ideal...but at least the remote still works. The treadmill is solid for the price.
The remote is complete garbage. It doesn't work properly and when trying to reset it using their instructions...it doesn't work. If you try to search the solution....A LOT of people have the same exact issue. The remote is pure trash and the treadmill won't work without the remote. Also...you can't find a replacement remote for this anywhere that's not 1/4 of the cost of the entire treadmill.

Did you find this review helpful? The best thing I have done for myself. I was initially skeptical about using it, but in the end, it suits me very well. It is easy to store. It withstands fast walking, I rarely use it for running but I don't think it would have a problem. The only negative thing is the remote control that broke on the second use after 3 falls. I use it with an app and it's okay.

Did you find this review helpful?I have had it for three years, I weigh 93 kg, it holds up perfectly for both running and walking. From speed 7+, it is suitable for running. Do not expect something perfect in terms of construction and programs, but it does its job perfectly and it is durable. And you can easily place an iPad and a mobile phone on it and comfortably see whatever you want.

Did you find this review helpful? For its price, it's fine, the only negative thing is that after a few months of use, various creaking sounds started to be heard, which disappear if you adjust its legs and reappear after a while, so you have to adjust them again. Additionally, the controller broke after about 1.5 years, but you can download the app and use it from there

Did you find this review helpful? The treadmill is really value for money in terms of construction, portability, connectivity, and ultimately its cost. It unfolds easily and is ready to use in 1-2 minutes, while in order to avoid noise and/or any damage, the legs need to be adjusted (if the floor is not level) every time it is set up, which takes an extra 2-3 minutes. It connects easily to the mobile phone and has good workout tracking. The adjustable stand is only for alignment during running and for holding the mobile phone, not for grip. It takes up no space when folded and is very convenient to move around. Now, in terms of running, if the legs are properly adjusted, it is completely silent, stable, and at its full speed, it simulates my daily morning run on the beach at 10km/h, without the cold and darkness that regular running offers. The included remote control is extremely convenient for adjusting the intensity during use. Overall, it is very well-designed and I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Did you find this review helpful?I have had it in my possession for about 18 months! Let's start with the negatives: As others have mentioned here, the application on the phone is not user-friendly at all, so I use it directly from the controller. It took me several workouts to find the setting on the footrests so that there is no noise. Now onto the general aspects: I use it almost daily and only run on the 10-speed setting, covering distances from 5 to 20 km. I weigh around 84 kg. I lubricate it every 3 months or so. It doesn't make much noise when pedaling, it is quite sturdy, high-quality, without any programs, but I believe it meets many requirements and is a value-for-money product! It hasn't suffered any damage even though I don't always treat it as I should! Perhaps the fact that I never fold it and it is always stable has played a role

Did you find this review helpful? At 420€, it's worth it, but not at 580€, which it will increase to in 5 months. For frequent use, casual walking-light running is just what you need. I suggest when you open it, it should be in a specific spot, with a mat underneath, because you will struggle to constantly adjust the legs (you don't hear it while walking, but while running, if one leg is a few millimeters off from the other, it's noticeable - unless all the tiles in my house are crooked :-))

Did you find this review helpful? The application is good with the basics, it also has a remote control. The treadmill needs regular lubrication otherwise it won't work properly. After just a few hours of use walking, the treadmill moves to the left causing the belt to touch the side; after a lot of effort and adjustment with the Allen wrench, it's okay.... I hope I won't have to keep doing this work. Various noises are heard during operation, but I pretend I don't hear them. It is not shockproof. Easy to store. After 1 year the remote control broke, the motor makes noise and smells like burnt plastic.....

Did you find this review helpful?I initially had difficulty with the legs. I put a mat underneath, but the noise stopped when I adjusted the legs to the minimum. It had the known issue with the controller in the first month. I took it to the warranty (Greek) and they gave me a new one in a few days. Also, something that I didn't see mentioned is that for obvious reasons, it automatically stops after two hours and gives you a 20-minute break.

Did you find this review helpful?Very good purchase. It is heavy, so storage is possible but not very easy. It folds easily and stands upright on the side to take up less space.
The instructions could be better. I also thought it didn't fit well, but the legs can be adjusted by rotating them, so if you hear a 'click click' while walking, adjust them to fit well. It doesn't need weights as others have written, just adjustment.
Its programs are good, but the mobile application after the latest update is terrible. However, it works fine with the remote control.
I recommend it.Translated from Greek ·- Volume

Did you find this review helpful?I bought it because it folds and becomes very small, and I don't have any space at home. It is very good, it closes and stores easily behind the door... However, in the hallway, it is not necessary to constantly close it because then it doesn't sit well on the tiles. I put weights behind it and only close it if there is a reason. Overall, it works well and can be controlled from the mobile.

Did you find this review helpful?I hope it holds up and doesn't break! One positive thing is that it collects relatively easily and doesn't take up space! Bought it for 460€ in January 2023! The whole family uses it, even the kids! It's a household appliance with an easy menu!

Did you find this review helpful? The only negative thing is that the handles are not stable even if you tighten them well. They move back and forth with a 30-degree tilt, which is concerning because it is the only point from which you can hold the treadmill to move it, causing you to fear that they will break every time you hold them.

Did you find this review helpful?I have it for over 1 year. It is the best for a home with limited space. I would note the following, as a 90-kilogram man:
- It must have very good contact with the floor. This can be achieved by adjusting its legs properly + it is recommended to purchase a gym floor for better contact and fewer vibrations.
- Due to the "break" in the center, you need to adjust your running a bit in terms of the point where you exert pressure when stepping (it also helps with vibrations). Personally, it suits me to step a little forward from the center - but stepping the same a little behind the center works as long as you don't move backward.
- It reaches a maximum speed of 10 km/h, so it is not suitable for "fast" runners.Translated from Greek ·- Storage

Did you find this review helpful? It was a bit heavy for one person to carry, but I managed it on my own. You open the packaging, lift the handle to create space for the unfolded part to open. You open it and press it down without fear of it breaking downwards so that it aligns with the floor, you attach the safety rope to the handle, connect it to the socket, insert the battery into the mini remote control, and it's ready. I have had it for about a month now and I am satisfied. I mainly use it for quick walking, but from what I saw in videos, you can also run with it.

Did you find this review helpful?Good packaging, I weigh 110 kilograms and it works very well for walking up to 5.5 km and light running. Very easy to assemble, simple to operate. The screw bases eliminate any noise or squeaking. The videos on YouTube are very helpful. I will come back after a few hours of use. Did you find this review helpful?Very good treadmill for beginners as it has a maximum speed of 10km/h. It could be a bit more economical considering what it offers. It makes some noise, but it's logical if you think that you're running on it with shoes! It is easily transported (with the wheels) and stored (and I say this as a half-bite person!) It fits comfortably behind an open door (it's like 2 regular ironing boards). I highly recommend it!

Did you find this review helpful?Good but for people with low weight.. otherwise it is very difficult. Its negatives are that the motor lid does not open easily for proper maintenance. It has a small carpet while walking and you have to constantly balance. I believe it is so famous because of advertising. And because people want it for sparse use "when you remember it"..
