Failed product that does not cook evenly; in some areas (edges) what you put in is almost raw, and in other areas, it burns. A major disadvantage is that the plates do not come out for washing, making cleaning almost impossible. Also, mediocre construction and excessively heavy. Very good for scrap metal to make something useful.
If it had removable plates, it would be unmatched. Very powerful, it makes crispy toast/hamburgers with the cheese melting. As a grill, it can easily cook delicious sausages or patties or fish sticks as well as chicken fillets. Disappointing results, however, with mushrooms mainly due to the excess water they release.
If you only want to toast bread, get a smaller one. This one can even grill steak. It is very powerful.
Unfortunately, a very bad purchase. It does not toast evenly at all, almost always burns the toast/sandwich from the outside. I tried using non-stick paper to avoid frequent cleaning and burning, but unfortunately it burned the paper. Choose another device.
I bought it about 2.5 years ago.
On the positive side, it looks good.
Good size (not too big, not too small)
And here the positives end
It broke down in 2.5 years with occasional use.
It does not toast evenly and this has to do with its resistors, they have a small rectangular shape and a significant gap in one corner so anything above it remains uncooked.
It does not have an on/off button (solved with an extra switch that plugs into the socket) and it has no temperature adjustment.
As I mentioned, the top resistor burned out (when this happens, neither the bottom one lights up) and there are no spare parts available for it, neither genuine nor compatible.
I do not recommend it.
I had bought it 5 years ago, until it burned. Its use was exclusively for toast, not necessarily every day. Yesterday I ordered the same one, for the simple reason that no toaster I have bought heats up as quickly as this one. As for some comments about burning the toast, I suggest using cooking oil - something that will also protect the coating of the plates and save you from cleaning them. In conclusion, for its price, it is worth it and recommended for those who want to make toast (up to four) in minimal time.
It heats up quickly but not evenly. It burns the toast in some areas. After a few months of use, the plastic on the right side that holds the two plates together broke. It only has a name, otherwise it's not worth it.
I have it for 1 and a half years. Whatever they write in the comments is true. It burns the toast, it doesn't cook the meat properly since the temperature cannot be adjusted, it doesn't have an on-off button, and of course, it is not easy to clean. I do not recommend it. A classic case of cheapness eating the product
Well, the bread of the toast burns and the cheese inside doesn't melt. I bought it exclusively for toast, I don't think I will use it as a grill. I will try to let the green light turn on first and then put the toast, because when I put it from the beginning it burns it. If I knew, I would have looked to buy another one. I was late to see the comments...
Okay, they are right in the comments. It grills very strongly and quickly. I, who like toasted sandwiches, didn't mind at all, but this is obviously a matter of taste.
It burns the toast on the outside and inside all the ingredients are raw. I didn't use it as a grill because it doesn't clean easily at all. Also, very short cable. The worst purchase I have made for a small appliance.
Very bad choice... it burns everything... you can't make a toast without it turning black, it's very difficult to clean as the plates don't come out. One of the worst purchases!!
The plates do not come out, the resistance is circular up and down, so it cooks very well where it is and not on all 4 sides. Due to its volume, it takes up a lot of storage space, and the handle loosens over time. For its price, it is worth it, it makes toast quickly and crispy, but it is not worth it for grilling because the plates do not come out.
It evenly cooks everything....
On the negative side, the plates do not come off and it does not have temperature control
December 20 and it still works perfectly (I think I've had it for 5 years..). At least in terms of construction, it is solid.
The downside is the difficulty of cleaning, given that it does not have removable plates. For this reason, I mainly stopped grilling vegetables or meats (sausages, burgers), while -without being a "chef"- I struggled not to burn them because it seems to heat up strongly.. it does not have temperature options.. It also heats up and cools down very quickly.. For cleaning, you need to wipe the plates with a kitchen paper and a little olive oil.
On the other hand, it grills sandwiches just fine for me.. It has helped me to use non-stick paper to avoid mess.. it's easy with sandwiches.. and the paper may also help with better grilling. For its price, it's good
Very fast in reaching operating temperature but you need to wait for the lights to go out before putting something to cook. Otherwise, it burns the bread.
But major disadvantages are that it does not have intensity control and the burners do not come out to be washed.
Good build quality and its speed/power are worth it.
For some reason, they advertise it as a toaster. That's how they sold it to me too. One attempt to make toast was enough for me to realize that it was nothing more than a grill. I can say that it is quite good for meats (I imagine also for vegetables), as it folds and you can grill several pieces at the same time. I have used it for souvlaki, chicken fillets, and even steaks. The major difficulty lies in cleaning. A huge drawback is the lack of intensity control, as well as the fact that you need to wrap the toast in aluminum foil to prevent it from burning. Unacceptable for a toaster, quite mediocre for a grill. I do not recommend it.
It is not a toaster or a sandwich maker. It is more like a grill for meat. Without having tried it, it will probably burn it with the 2000 W power it has.
In less than 2 minutes, it has burned (literally charcoal) the bread on the outside and the ingredients inside are frozen.
It does not have a temperature option that would make it functional.
Without an adjustable thermostat, it is useless.
It heats up so quickly that it burns the bread and the ingredients of the sandwich remain uncooked.
The worst toaster.
+ Heats relatively quickly
- The plates are not detachable
- Lack of an On/Off switch
- Lack of a temperature control switch
- Short cable
- Very poor quality plastic
It burns everything
It burns the toast almost always. Same as what others say.
Worst toaster, the toast turns into charcoal, the worst purchase!
Top-notch. It can't be compared to any other.
The toast burns the bread and doesn't heat the ingredients inside.
It is perfect for fish
