I consider it very good. It records sound and has a fantastic feature where when you say "okay Garmin," it takes a snapshot image and saves the video. So, when there is an imminent accident or when you see some strange movement in front of you, the video is saved only by speaking - very important. I have put a large capacity micro SD card on it and all the videos are saved. Additionally, it connects to the mobile phone through an application.
