I think they do it on purpose now, they just try to make it more annoying every year and I can't understand what's going on... It's a big problem with the recent FIFA games, the CPU's gameplay... the players just stick the ball to their feet and circle around the field... and it doesn't seem like this is going to change
I am excited because now I can confidently say that it is the best Fifa of all time! What some people say about the online mode being laggy is not true. It never lagged for me, not even once. Fifa rules!
I have been playing FIFA for twenty years, starting from FIFA 2002 on the PS2 console. I can confidently say that the FIFA 22 version for PS5 is the best FIFA of all time! The gameplay is incredibly good, the graphics on a 4K TV are perfect, and overall, the game is amazing! I highly recommend it for those who have a PS5 console! However, for those who have a PS4, not so much.
Quite upgraded from the previous ones, logical and even more so since it is new and the console is very realistic. It is worth the money now for the PS4 version. I don't know what's happening with the PS4 version, I see a lot of bad reviews, so they probably only did a good job here
Bought it for 56 euros through the PlayStation Store. I think the initial price of 80 euros is quite steep. I've had it for a few days now. It requires good knowledge of Defense. When playing online, you can find opponents at any time. I occasionally experience minor glitches online, maybe because I don't have my own internet connection at home (for now). The graphics are quite nice (I play on a 55-inch OLED) and I like it more as I learn. There is a significant improvement in goalkeepers. The dual sense vibrates in various situations in the game, such as contacts and hitting the crossbar, etc. It is quite realistic in movements, goalkeeper saves, and defensive reactions. I will come back with new comments as I do in my reviews to help as much as I can. (Unfortunately, without competition, if the previous version does not return as it should, I believe it will be bad. Competition is only good for us gamers. I would like 2k and Konami to release their own versions as well.) I believe it is worth buying at the best possible price!
Significantly improved gameplay, the graphics look more realistic without any major difference of course, and improved artificial intelligence so that opponents play smarter. It is the best football game in the market for another year, regardless. So, it is enjoyable to spend your time playing a little football. Whether in career mode, leveling up your player, or online. What could have been better is the successor to FIFA Street... VOLTA. Last year it had a story that kept you engaged and interested, while the feeling of playing on the street with tricks was something different. This year, I was disappointed that they removed the story, so it lost some of its interest and focuses more on online play. I don't give it five stars because the game is based on the same formula with some changes that make a noticeable difference, but only to a certain extent. It doesn't have any drastic differences in gameplay, graphics, career mode, player expressions, fans, VOLTA, etc., and the price will remain high and unlikely to drop.
Where do I start and where do I end with this electronic football parody by EA? My brother has it and says it's good, so I decided to get it for online and ultimate fut. Well, I put it on my ps5 and it has a terrible online system. The lag is unbearable, like a cloud with 400 meters away from a digital center, even though I have a 50 Mbps download and 5.3 Mbps upload with 2 ping. I don't believe anyone in Greece gets these numbers, and I have 55 and 65 ping in fut before the match starts, even with a cat 6e cable. The input latency is unacceptable, and I even spent 130 euros on packs and didn't get a single player. So, I conclude that I can't rate it higher than 6/10 for the online aspect. As a game, it's not bad when playing with friends. Yes, it's entertaining. But it's not suitable for anything else, and the price should have been a maximum of 28 euros.
Not even online. Having fiber optic doesn't make a difference, they say. You can't even call it a football simulator... if you get used to it or if you're already familiar with the other FIFA games, all the players become jugglers with triple moves that even Messi would envy... it has become disgusting with all the tricks that half of the players perform, which under real conditions would be out with minimum injuries... the AI is simply foolish, allowing 6-7 goals with a clumsy goalkeeper and defenders who make Pepe look like Maldini in front of them. I have been enjoying football games for many years now. Every year I buy both. One tries to do something, but they both use the same engine until the machines' capabilities surpass them, and then each one starts again from scratch with terrible flaws. The years when both games pushed the limits of the machines are gone... now both the PS5 and the Xbox handle them effortlessly.
The only reason I bought it is to play Seasons (Online Multiplayer with real teams, not the pay-to-win Ultimate Team mode). If you are in a similar position, I do not recommend approaching it at all. Do not even think that with good internet you will not have a problem. Personally, I have a stable 50 Mbps VDSL connection, with a €250 modem/router and a Cat 6e cable connected to my PS5.
Unfortunately, the online mode is unplayable due to high input latency, especially in higher Divisions, and it is unfair because the input latency is one-way, unlike the PC version of FIFA 21 that I used to play, where if one player lags, the other player experiences the same lag, making it somewhat fair, and usually the opponent is willing to accept a mutual quit in the first 1-2 minutes of the game, as they notice that they are also experiencing lag.
In FIFA 22, no one accepts a mutual quit, you play against Western Europeans with a ping of 5-12ms, and you constantly try to control your drunk player, who reacts to your inputs after the opponent passes you or scores.
You constantly feel like you cannot control your team, and this comes from someone who had 1000 games in FIFA 21 seasons (DIV 1) and now in FIFA 22, I reached DIV 1, lost/drew 30 games in a row, and dropped to DIV 4 (which never happened to me in FIFA 21 PC). The input lag somewhat improved and I climbed back to DIV 2, and now back to DIV 1, but since I entered DIV 2, from playing with 46ms, I now play with 70-80ms and the game is unplayable. I just sit there wasting my time, trying to switch to the controlled defender, and when I finally manage to take control of the defender I want, the opponent easily passes by.
In short, the online gameplay is terrible. Anyone planning to buy it to play online will waste their money and get frustrated.
Fifa !!! They decided to work and release a little diamond. I haven't played such a well-crafted game (soccer) in many years. There is definitely still room for improvement, but it took the next step. It soars with the PS5
No relation to last year's FIFA, meaning much better! Of course, it has some issues that will likely be fixed with updates. However, the price should have been lower...
What I wanted to find in Pro Evolution Soccer, I finally found it in Fifa. It has really become like the old versions, with perfect gameplay and very good graphics. I liked it a lot and I recommend it on Ps5
By far the best football game out of all the FIFA games. Especially on PlayStation 5. The only negative thing for me is that the game's replays are still at 30fps. Other than that, it's worth it.
I am a fan of the series since 1996, it is simply the best of all time, (today I did the first update), at some point you just think it is real, no difference from reality. The lighting with the sun, the detail in the players, on the field, etc., everything is perfect. If you have a 5.1, you feel like you are in the stadium. Buy it with your eyes closed, updates are frequent and the problems are minimal
A game that is the same as last year's. Speaking about the ps5 versions. Career mode is exactly the same. Without any additions. I have no opinion on the ultimate, I stopped playing it since last year. They have improved the balance a bit, with attackers being faster than defenders finally. Visually it's the same and a bit slower and more realistic. Hype for no reason with 60 fps in performance mode. For me, it's not worth it at all at this price, it's a game where they added the kids entering the field with the players' jackets during warm-up and nothing else besides transfers. Wait for it to drop.
