I bought one last year for my boys for gaming. I had to buy another one for the same reason since one of my sons left for college.
Even after a year, I haven't found anything more value for money, so I purchased another identical one.
For my needs, it makes the most clicks. IPS and not VA so that it is functional in production and not just in gaming, notable screen quality, 1ms reaction time, and high refresh rate for its price, QHD since we don't have a GPU that can take advantage of higher resolution, high build quality in its plastics and a stable base.
I was worried that the base would stick out and be very annoying or that it would bring the screen too close since it has quite a distance from the back. But in the end, although it needs some clearance from behind, it is just fine for gaming, and one of my sons wants it even closer.
The 32" was chosen knowingly, although the optimal size for its resolution is theoretically 28". The compromise isn't such a problem after all, gaining a larger screen and thus better viewing at the expense of slightly worse pixel visibility. This is a personal matter.
Recommended with eyes closed.
Purchased for €405, at this price it is a very good choice considering that 32-inch IPS panel and high refresh rate are generally very expensive and there are not many options available.
Mine has vignetting mainly at the bottom and right, but also on the left. I can't say it bothers me a lot, but you definitely notice it.
The menu is user-friendly, the panel is well calibrated from the factory, but I slightly reduced the reds and lowered the brightness to around 43 because my space is usually quite dark when I play.
Response time is fine, I can't say I notice much difference between 165hz and the 144hz I had before.
The HDR is mediocre to bad, I tried it for a few weeks but it's better off.
For the money I got it, as I said, it is a very good choice, however, at the usual price of €550, I consider it quite overpriced.
Overall, a very good 2k monitor for its price.
Beautiful IPS panel, low input lag, high refresh rate (165 or 180 oc'ed). Syncs well with Nvidia RTX GPU (GSync compatible).
Notes:
- Purchased for 392€. At higher prices that I see fluctuating periodically (around 570€), there may be better options.
- I am lucky and it does not have (at least noticeable) backlight bleeding.
- The "deep sleep" DisplayPort issue in multi-monitor setup that some LG monitors are said to have does not seem to occur in either Windows 11 or MacOS Monterey. As I leave the windows, I find them. (I read on Reddit subs that there were issues with Windows 10).
- The stand takes up a lot of space, so I recommend using a monitor arm.

Purchase at 420e.
At this price, there is simply no competition in the Greek market for 1440p, 160hz, 27', low response time, 0-pixel warranty, g-sync, not curved etc etc.
You will have to go over 700e for something better.
The equivalent from MSI is unacceptable in terms of text and with DELL they have the same panel, with LG being the best implementation from all perspectives and factory calibrated.
• If you come from another old ips or simply tn monitor, the screen will seem very "red" or that it has very intense colors. In a few days you will get used to it and you will realize that your old monitor simply couldn't show the colors.
• Very bright, when using it with sunlight in the room, I don't raise it above 60-70, at 100 brightness the brightness hurts your eyes. For normal use in text for a dark room, and at 40 the brightness is acceptable and more comfortable (don't look at the max brightness numbers etc in reviews, they don't correspond to what the eye sees).
• If the text doesn't look good on the screen, it's because of the sharpening where the default value is at 100 and it should be lowered to 60-80.
• The LG onscreen control is very good, where with a USB cable you can control the monitor settings through Windows without having to struggle with the knob on the monitor (it's in an awkward position, at the bottom).
• It has an FPS counter and crosshair. You can activate one each time.
• It is thin and discreet.
• As for glows, blacks etc, the monitor I received is much better than a TN monitor I have in terms of black and uniformity. The only reason I compared them is from the reviews I read about blinding and glow. In mine, you will only see them if you "want" to see them and only with a full black screen, and they have nothing to do with the images I see that they upload (when you take a photo of the screen, it's like increasing the brightness of the screen to 200%).
• It is necessary to also get an arm for the desk, you can't have it 30 centimeters from your eyes, playing at 160 fps with full brightness and then wonder why your eyes hurt. It costs +50e, wait for it to drop from 500e and it will be worth it.
• In Greece, availability is strange for this monitor depending on the season, with prices ranging from 300 to 600. If you find it for under 400-something and available, buy it. Below 400, they simply give it away, they don't sell it.
When we talk about health issues, it's not even worth mentioning image quality and response time and the like. The monitor with this nano IPS panel is simply DANGEROUS for some people, including me and 2 other friends of mine, it affects them a lot, after 20 minutes of use they started getting terrible headaches and eye pain, I have a video where my friend was playing and his eyes were literally tearing with excellent lighting in the room and low brightness! I really wonder how LG has released such a panel. For those who are not affected by this unacceptable panel: I mention that it has terrible viewing angles, especially if you look at it slightly from above, even the TN panel I had has better ones and in scenes with dark spots on the LG they don't even show up! (in the photos the right one is the LG). Of course, I sold the monitor because LG did not accept returns. The first and last time I choose LG.
I have seen various monitors for myself, this is the best monitor for 2k and under 200hz.
- Latest IPS panel technology, essentially 180hz
- Very low response times
- Many settings in the menu to experiment with directly from the PC
- With the latest firmware it has a plug and play mode
- 3 years 0 pixel warranty, can be extended to 5 years for 60 euros from LG
- The best part of all is that it comes calibrated from the factory, if you don't have the tool needed, you can't calibrate any monitor by eye, generally look at reviews pre-calibration on any monitor if you're not going to adjust it properly.
The only negative is that the base does not swivel left-right, easily solved by purchasing a separate base.
Very good price, quite satisfied, BUT as they mentioned, GET a monitor arm....without it, it loses a lot in depth, I might have returned it if I didn't make this magical move...
I have it for a few hours. In the first tests I did, I am completely satisfied. It tires me a little, maybe because I have been used to a different screen for so long. In a few weeks, I will come back about this.
The only negative thing about the stand is that it doesn't have swivel (if you hold it from the edges to turn it right or left, it doesn't go. you have to turn it together with the stand)
Luckily, my unit doesn't have any problematic pixels or backlight bleed (this is the first time this happens to me with an IPS panel)
Negatives: minimal backlight bleed on the top left. It is not bothersome even in movies with a dark background.
Positives: very good colors for gaming and movies. Very good response time and many customization options.
The other option was an Acer monitor that had slightly better image quality, but I chose to purchase the LG due to the 0 pixel warranty. For its price, it is very good.
I have it permanently connected to an Xbox Series S at 1440p resolution.
I am satisfied with the purchase and I recommend it!
I don't have much to say. I don't know if the panel has changed over time or if I was just unlucky with my panel. When I look at it directly, I see vingeting in the bottom 2 corners. Especially in the bottom left, it is very pronounced in dark colors and better in light ones.
The vingeting I'm talking about is like backlight bleed. Depending on the angle I look at the screen, the color changes. My old one has this too, but it is much more pronounced on the 27GP850.
I sent it to the dealership for them to see. After just one week, they called me just to notify me that the monitor is working according to specifications and they are sending it back to me. They didn't ask me anything and of course, I didn't bother to complain. Since the communication was brief, and they told me it is within specifications, it means that's what LG has told them, and they as representatives follow it. I do not blame the service in any case.
It's a bit sad that my old cheap 23MP65 would be better than this one. Last time I buy an LG monitor.

After checking all the GL, GN, GP models, etc. on Rtings.com, I realized that people made mistakes in their purchases, either confusing the models or for some other reason. Do market research first to avoid many regrets later.
To put it as it is, the screen is in all resolutions above 1920×1080 60ghz maximum...
But they advertise 140 and 180 OC.
Perfect panel the LG Nano IPS.
I received it a few days ago and I have been enjoying it! Coming from a 24' TN 1080p 144Hz Xl2420T by BenQ (old model), the experience and speed it offers are top-notch! Perfect experience in Modern Warfare with 1440p and 165Hz with Adaptive-Sync (in combination with an Rtx 3080 and Ryzen 9 5900x).
I received the panel without bright or dead pixels and without Backlight Bleed (although I wasn't worried about the pixels, due to the 3-year 0 pixel policy of the Greek LG dealership).
Whoever gets it should download and install their icc profile from rtings.com. Play with the Gamer1 mode and Vivid and with the Gamma to bring it to the perfect image it can provide! Also, the reader mode has been very helpful for reading!
Connect it with USB and download the LG On-screen control to make adjustments from the computer and not from the lever!

Owner of a 25' Dell Ultrasharp 2K (which had a very nice image), Asus 27' 144hz Fullhd (very good response). I was looking for something that has it all for a long time, and I ended up with this monitor. It is literally the ultimate version for a monitor that anyone can get, in realistic price-performance terms (purchased for €440, if you find it lower, it increases the value of the deal).
Positives:
- Everything.
Really, both the monitor as an image-colors perfect (IPS), and the 2K that makes everything more crisp and 165hz (with Overclock it reaches 180 but it is not necessary [in fact, they say it will wear out the monitor, so I haven't even tested it]) which, although I had a 144hz monitor, feels even snappier.
Oh yes, and because many people have issues with the menu (I really don't know why), it is user-friendly and understandable (with plenty of settings for fine-tuners).
Negatives:
- The monitor stand (which, by the way, is the most sturdy and good one I have seen) takes up quite a bit of space, resulting in needing a deep desk (I have an 80cm one), although with the monitor arm I have (~€55 RaidSonic Icy Box IB-MS503-T), it is perfect (trust me, GET a monitor arm no matter what screen you have, and you will remember me).
- I don't have anything else :P I will update if needed.
- Update #1: The only thing I hadn't taken into consideration, if we're talking about gaming, is that in 2K (but this applies to all 2K monitors, not specifically this one), there are fewer FPS because more pixels = more load on the graphics card. Personally, I have a very good one, but still, there are games that don't reach 165 fps to fully utilize it (I have a 3080 and I'm experiencing a bottleneck due to the i7-8700 -.- ).
Note: 32'' as a size is not for all users, and it requires a sufficient distance to be comfortable for the eyes (Measured 90 centimeters eyes-monitor). I went from 27'' to 32'', and the difference wasn't very big. If you go from a smaller screen, it will seem huge.
Update #1: One year later, still perfectly satisfied. The only thing I changed is that I went to 100 centimeters distance, from 90, for a more comfortable viewing
