I have had it since November and I was expecting it to be much worse. It has a perfect screen, it is the best I have seen on a phone at this price. The camera is perfect, I have no complaints. My battery lasts a long time, but I don't know about other people. The only downside I have is the software. It's good, okay, but it still has some annoyances. Firstly, the bloatware. It has too many apps that you need to remove, and even some others that come pre-installed and you may want to use (e.g. Tiktok) you have to uninstall them and download them again because they don't update. Secondly, there are ads in some other apps (like Cleaner), which can take up the whole screen, but you can disable them in the setup if you turn off the "Personalized Recommendations" option. Those are the only things I have about the software though. It reminds you a little bit of iOS, to be honest. The phone is also fast, just don't expect to play a lot of games, especially if they require a lot of processing power or graphics. I tried Genshin Impact and it lagged, but if you need a good processor, save up and get the Poco F4. But if you want an affordable phone that can do a lot, this is what I would tell you to get.
The mobile is sturdy, very fast, and it also catches signal, I don't know what everyone is saying that it doesn't catch signal, they probably have a cosmote... anyway, with loudspeaker it catches just fine and sounds normal, the only thing that bothers me is the bloatware of the Xiaomi software, but for 200€ it's worth the money a thousand times. With 8gb ram and 128gb there is no other device on the market at this price and it also has an excellent camera, it has two speakers for music and movie functions and it sounds stereo. Value For Money !!! Edit: after a month of use I noticed that the battery life has decreased, but it is expected because I have been using it extensively, and the extra 2gb ram that it has compared to the classic model definitely consumes more power, and still it lasts me the whole day with a full charge and more.
It almost never gets a signal for calls, the wifi comes and goes whenever it wants, it frequently freezes.
Owner of the 5 very very satisfied now with this instead of better definitely worse in some areas.
The positives are the speaker, screen, battery.
Update:
It is the worst phone except for a very old Sony that I broke with my hands, this one stood at 5.60 for shots in a bucket which I hit on the second try. I should note that it may also be due to the updates that you eagerly await hoping that something will change (yeah right)
Goodbye Xiaomi!
It's a shame because the Redmi 5 that I had was a star for the 4 years I had it
