"Every spaceship has a voice, a melody from the machines and systems that the crew learns to understand on long journeys. But after our last trip, something sounds very wrong on the ship. Something dirty is hiding and trying to communicate with us. Soft murmurs... Strange whispers that no machine can create. The dark corridors and endless rooms seem to sing. Some of us tried to locate the source of this transmission, but it was always two steps ahead. Pursued by this endless presence, we did not hesitate to break. Our engineer carved phrases into his skin, and when we asked him why, he replied that fiery secrets must be written in blood. Then, the pilot decided to go for a spacewalk without her special suit. When we pulled her back in, her face was frozen and broken, and the smile on her lips was so eerie that I still can't forget it. Now, things have gotten even worse. Sounds have turned into voices, sharing tales of horror and slaughter. They are not trying to escape from us. They surround us and prepare us for their dark purposes. I must understand them before it's too late. I grab my weapon as I observe the backs of the last two crew members. I see dark secrets emerging from their skulls. It will only take two bullets to set them free..." In general, in this game you should know that: The Voidseeders are a race that can interact with the crew's minds. They have several nests instead of just one, but only one strong presence at a time. Once it is defeated, a new one will rise from the most advanced nest. This race focuses on whispering and controlling the minds, and those in close proximity hear voices commanding them to perform destructive actions. On the board, there is usually one nest per room, but there are 2-3 additional smaller ones. These are the ones where new Voidseeders will be born. When the main Nest is discovered, you must place a Stalker miniature in that spot. Additionally, other nests will appear on the board each time you discover specific exploration tokens. These nests can be particularly dangerous. They do not move, but if a crew member finishes their turn on a tile with a nest, they will be seriously injured. Voidlurkers appear in nests with the sole purpose of unleashing madness and transporting players to the Nests. Whispersers function similarly to Voidlurkers, but their main purpose is to protect the main nest at all costs. The Stalker is the main guard. It exploits the fear/madness of the crew and will focus on that. The Despoiler is similar to the Queen. In fact, it is difficult to say with certainty if it is real or a mass hallucination. Either way, it will appear when all insanity tokens are used by all players. Players will receive a contamination card each time they take an insanity token. It will be easier to get rid of them."
The result of the card takes effect at the end of the game, where if it is revealed that it was indeed infected, then your character, despite managing to escape, loses their sanity. When moving, you must roll for whispers. If you enter a hallway where there is already a whisper token, you will need to draw a card from the Insanity deck. These cards will or will not take effect based on the number of insanity tokens each character has. In battle, Voidlurkers will only try to increase the number of insanity tokens in your possession and will flee to the nearest nest. Whisperers will be more difficult to kill, while trying to physically harm you, with their main goal being the increase of insanity tokens. However, things will take a different turn with the Stalker and Despoiler, who, being stronger, will inflict real wounds on you, so it is preferable to avoid them. In the events phase, an additional step is added, which is as follows: compare the number of insanity tokens with that of Voidlurkers and Whisperers in all neighboring rooms. If their number is greater than that of the insanity tokens, add another token and draw a contamination card. However, the more you are in a room with other people, the less this effect will affect you.
