It's not air as they say, if you don't add oil, you've ruined it.

15ml oil. 120g popcorn. amazing ratio.

By adding 2 tablespoons of brown sugar on top, you easily get caramelized.
As soon as the pops start to decrease, you take them out, otherwise they burn immediately

In relation to the simple machines that spill quite a bit of popcorn, this one is better because it is closed and nothing escapes. However, quite a few kernels remain unpopped; this may be due to the quality of the corn.

Very good machine. You put a little oil or butter on the non-stick cooking surface, close it with the large transparent bowl, and the rotating arms/wires ensure that the corn is stirred continuously so that it is coated with oil and pops evenly in a few minutes.
    Positives:
    - The salt you add afterwards sticks to the popcorn, while in air machines it does not.
    - The popcorn does not scatter but is contained by the bowl.
    - After cooking, you flip the machine upside down and take the popcorn in the bowl.
    - Easy cleaning with a damp cloth or a wet piece of paper towel. It doesn't require much oil.
    - Fast cooking/popping.
    - No unpopped corn is left.
    - No odors are created like in a pot with the traditional method.
    Negatives:
    - The large size and relative difficulty in storage

Well, I spent fifty bucks and thought, worst case, it's just another useless item in the series of useless items we all have acquired over time. Guys, this machine is really amazing. I put almost double the amount I usually put in the pot, added a little oil with the butter, and pressed the button. In almost 3 minutes, the first ones started popping, and in another minute, they had all popped. That's when I went crazy; I flipped it over as I should, and not a single unpopped kernel was left. Guys, for the price, not a single unpopped kernel. I don't know if it was just plain luck, but I was thrilled. The amount was enough for 3 people, and the cleaning was ridiculous. If you love popcorn and don't want it to be like the ones made by hot air machines, get it with your eyes closed, and you'll make me a legend!! As for durability over time, I don't know, just like I don't know if right after this review I step outside and get run over by a truck. Time will tell.
By the way, the photos do it a disservice; the tool is huge, like a large basketball with handles, maybe even a bit bigger.

WARNING!!! They incorrectly state in the description that it uses hot air. It doesn't. It has a metal plate that heats up, and that's where the magic happens.

P.S. I use corn from the well-known German supermarket, and so far, not a single unpopped kernel has remained.

Makes incredibly good popcorn, better than the cinema. With a little oil or butter, it's perfect.
