Very nice book with wonderful words. The text is short and the illustrations captivated my child... my little one, almost two years old, listens to it with great interest.
The book is EXCELLENT! I have a little girl who is about two and a half years old and she loves books! Each page includes a few words so that it can be understood by her age! It conveys very beautiful messages such as giving opportunities for getting to know something that may scare us (like the doctor). It is ideal for bonding between a daughter and a father and shows what you can learn from your father! It moved us!
In this book, there is basically no story. I found it very boring, without structure and theme, and also its translation should have some theme. For example, it says: "I will fix your future, you will fix mine, we will make a clock to measure time" and "We will build a love after we embrace, we will dig a hole to hide in it" or "However, sometimes you lose and sometimes you win. That's why we will build a gate, for you to know each and every one you don't like". It simply doesn't make any sense on any page. Also, it talks about enemies. Why should the little child learn about enemies at the beginning of their life? I do not recommend it at all.
With a difference, my favorite children's bracelet book, excellent illustration, large, legible letters, and above all an exceptional story. Jeffers is rightfully considered one of the best writers of our generation. It really deserves every parent to read it to their child
