Extremely drought-resistant, it spreads both by stolons and rhizomes. It goes dormant in winter and regenerates in spring. It can be used for the construction of all kinds of lawns, mainly for public use, due to its resistance to harsh environmental conditions. (low watering, brackish water, high temperatures, trampling resistance).
It requires low mowing and frequent thinning with vertical cuts.
It performs exceptionally well in coastal areas.
