It is not for a woman's hand, no matter how they advertise it. It is too big.
The only reason I chose it was because it accepts esim, so I sacrificed appearance for practicality. Unfortunately, for months now, I have not been able to put an esim in the watch while keeping the physical sim (and of course the same number) in my mobile with cosmote (every store tells me something different, but everyone agrees that I cannot do what I am asking for). With these facts, I would say that I regret buying it.
Owner since November. Everything was fine until the beginning of June when it overheated and stopped working. Contacted Huawei and sent it for warranty repair. The shipping and repair process took almost a month. I received it back 15 days ago and today, one of the same issues occurred, it won't turn on. It seems like it doesn't like the summer!! Tomorrow, I will contact the company to see what will happen. I am disappointed because I didn't buy it cheaply!!!!
Good and reliable device, I have it for 3 months. Its battery lasts from 1.5 days to 4 and it has 2 functions. The fitness programs are not in Greek and do not work well. Also, when combined with Huawei wireless headphones, the sound does not come from the speaker and can be heard throughout the gym.
Material quality is good. I still don't know about the measurements as in the gt2 it counted steps inside my car. In the other measurements, it's probably very good. Battery lasts 1.5 days with heart rate, oxygen, and body temperature activated.
You can no longer transfer music alone to the watch, but through the Huawei app. So, you don't have the ability to simply transfer mp3.
The biggest disappointment is the esim. In all the stores, they tell me they no longer provide esim. And the cosmote from the phone doesn't provide esim for the watch, nor a second physical sim card. I'm still searching. Without esim, I consider the gt3 overpriced. I was fine with the gt2.
Update: esim works perfectly with cosmote.
And mp3 music works normally
I went to this watch after the gt2. The synchronization was very easy, I had it on in 15 minutes. The battery is much better than the gt2 and the speaker for the watch is excellent. The build quality is very good. The strap is interchangeable. I would highly recommend it for its price.
If you want to test your patience, buy it... the GPS doesn't easily find a signal... It doesn't accurately measure heartbeats.
During my run, it eats up almost a kilometer... All the negatives combined in one watch.
Far away.
Although when I got it, I experienced a problem with the heart rate because it was showing higher values (I checked it with a chest strap), I took it to the dealership and with an upgrade, the problem was solved. Nice watch, not too heavy for running, you can install applications, I have also installed the card to pay with NFC. Satisfied so far
Transition from Gt2, a beautiful watch with excellent capabilities.
Problematic 3 times with warranty changes, twice for the weak battery and once because it didn't open again after diving into the sea.
Its weakness is the battery that lasts for one and a half days. I'm not sending it back to service, I'm tired!
The dealership was excellent in every way.
I have had the watch for 8 months. It was functioning properly and without any issues until the summer. About a month ago (July 2022), it stopped working when it was under the sun, as mentioned in previous comments, and since then it hasn't worked again. I sent it for service and within 4 days of receiving the repaired watch, the exact same scenario happened again. It should be noted that they have changed the circuit board and the battery during the service, so we are talking about a problem that obviously stems from this specific series of watches and not from my device.
Very good and beautiful watch, a bit heavy compared to the Gt2. Plenty of apps, podcasts, radio, even games. The sound is amazing. A bit expensive at 350€, but OK if you love gadgets, you'll give it! It would be great if it played videos, photos or at least YouTube!
UPDATE, September 18, 2021:
Coming from the legendary Huawei GT 2.
Connected with P40 Pro.
The initial 4 stars become 5 because the updates/improvements/additions are monthly and in the right direction.
POSITIVES:
-) High-definition screen
-) Accurate measurements
-) eSIM function
-) Skin temperature measurement
-) Downloading apps from AppGallery
-) Harmony OS operating system (you realize it is indeed a better operating system)
-) Monthly updates with new features.
-) Incredible screen brightness.
-) Incredible construction, premium feel and appearance.
-) You can now reply to SMS from the watch (new update Sep. 2021)
-) Alarm clock improved significantly (new update Sep. 2021)
-) Handwashing detection (new update Sep. 2021)
-) Free trial of watchfaces for 5 minutes before purchasing (new update Sep. 2021)
-) Playback of a wide variety of music formats (new update Sep. 2021)
NEGATIVES:
-) Slightly high price, although with the gift it offers (until recently at least, the Huawei Freebuds 4i), it is somewhat cost-effective.
-) Short battery life (full usage with haste lasts 2.5 days). The 14 days mentioned are achievable if you conserve energy by disabling things.
-) Relatively slow charging (it takes about 110 minutes for a full charge from 0% to 100%).
-) For me, the biggest drawback is the vibration. Since I have my phone and watch on vibration and I receive notifications from my phone through the smartwatch, the vibration of the notifications is almost imperceptible. Even if you wear the watch tightly. The vibration for calls is okay. I contacted Huawei (via chat) to ask if there is a possibility (somewhere, somehow) to increase the vibration, and they responded negatively. That's where I got disappointed, to be honest. Compared to the legendary GT 2. I hope that with a future update, this may change.
I got mine to connect it with an iPhone. Problems:
The connection is average and it gets lost every now and then (1-2 times a day). If it gets lost, it needs to be manually reconnected.
For some reason, notifications either take a long time to come or they come and vibrate as much as they want, without logic. Occasionally, it works correctly.
The battery is mediocre at best. The 3 days they claim are not possible unless you have it on normal mode for 1 day and battery-saving mode for 2 days. 1.5 days if you don't do anything and just wear it, and less than a day if you mess with it.
On the positive side, the build quality and the very good screen are good. I don't know if the measurements are accurate, but the GPS works well and locks quickly. The battery-saving mode has fewer issues (e.g. no issues with notifications) and definitely lasts for more than 10-15 days. If it didn't have some shortcomings, it would be great to replace the mediocre Harmony OS. Of course, lately it doesn't even connect to that without a reset.
In short, the watch is good in appearance and materials, but the software is in an experimental stage. It's not worth it for what they ask. It's better to get an older model from the series...
P.S. Back to 2 stars because the latest updates made it terrible again. If you have an Android, it's okay, but if you have an iPhone, forget it.
