  In my Maltese puppy, 4.5 months old, it did not suit at all. While he ate it happily, he constantly vomited, his stools had mucus, and overall he was excessively distressed. I stopped it after 1 week. The transition from the previous food was gradual. My vet told me that it doesn't suit all Maltese dogs though.
