VFM television, we never had specific demands from our TVs (for movies, sound, etc.) compared to the old LG smart TV, and this one seemed to have better image quality. What has impressed me the most, though, is that it picks up the wifi signal despite the distance from the router and never disconnects. The menu is okay, you can add or remove apps as you wish. The remote control is a negative aspect as it has buttons for some of its applications (Rakuten, Disney, Netflix, Amazon) that if you don't use, it occupies a button without reason or use. I recommend it due to the company and for mild, typical family use.

The image is good (not WOW moment, but it's fine), the sound is impressively good, the construction is also fine, plastic but it doesn't creak or anything. The speed is also normal, you may have to wait a few seconds for Netflix, but nothing extreme. The remote control is a bit old-fashioned and a little uncomfortable in my opinion. Maybe it's not worth it or it requires a little searching if you want to do wireless mirror/share screen (without external equipment). I've heard that there are often problems with androidTV operating system, but with webOS I couldn't connect any device. EDIT: In the end, I resorted to an active HDMI cable to the computer (10 meters) and it's a great solution.

Bought it a month ago after reading the good comments here. I made the settings I read in the comments and it really flies. Good sound, very good picture on HD channels, it rocks on 4K Netflix for 540 euros. Easy menu, remote control, it doesn't freeze anywhere. Everything works very well. I didn't find any negatives. The distance between the legs is not what they say in the comments, I bought a bigger table!

So, I searched on the internet and played with the picture settings. First of all, disable all picture filters, including AI picture settings, set the color temperature to minimum warm, panel brightness to 95, contrast to 85, screen brightness to 60, gamma setting to 2.2, sharpness to 35, and finally, set the high image resolution to medium. From here on, experiment with the other picture filters according to your preferences. All of this in the Picture Settings menu, User Mode. Also, the most important of all, completely disable energy saving and .... enjoy the picture. Finally, the sound is very satisfactory, and the use of a soundbar is not necessary. Regarding the remote control, since it does not include the LG smart remote, which has voice commands, you can download the LG ThinQ app from the play store, which also accepts voice commands via smartphone.

These settings are recommended on LG's official website. From here on, experiment with the other image filters according to your preferences, but according to several websites about TV settings, it is recommended to have all filters disabled. All of this can be found in the Picture Settings menu under the User preset. Also, the most important thing of all is to completely disable energy saving and... enjoy the picture. Finally, the sound quality is very satisfactory, and the use of a soundbar is not necessary. Regarding the remote control, since it does not include LG's smart remote, which has voice commands, you can download the LG ThinQ app from the Play Store, which accepts voice commands via smartphone.

Do not expect crazy things. The television is mediocre in everything, with the only exception being its sound, which I was excessively satisfied with. Its construction is generally not the best. It requires care in handling.
I would definitely recommend the product for its price. I have had it for 5 months and so far everything is good. It does not freeze anywhere in any menu and software updates are very smooth (sometimes you don't even notice it).

It concerns the 55 "and I remove only 1 star for the 1 and only USB port it has (the solution is here https://www.skroutz.gr/s/25706051/Ugreen-Sharing-Box-USB-2-0-Hub-4-Ports-with-USB-A-Connection-30767.html.) for anyone who wants to use a mouse and an external hard drive simultaneously. Of course, it is something I knew when I bought it (for 410 euros) but I was not tempted by the money it costs. The connection to the internet via Wi-Fi is very easy, but I believe that navigation is only fast and easy with a mouse. I am not an expert in technical matters but for me, it is a relatively good and cheap TV for anyone who is not interested in special performance, so they will go for an OLED with the extra + money. As for the remote control, in a large chain store with games, you can find a cheap LG control that works for all LG TVs, and I use it for another LG 32" that I have and both recognized it immediately. I hope it is also reliable in terms of its operating time

The terrestrial digital channels (Star, Ant1, etc.) look great! I played 4K videos on it and the picture is truly amazing! The menu is relatively easy, you can learn it quickly. The viewing angle is satisfactory, even at 40° angle you can see quite well, I would say, but it will definitely strain your eyes if you watch from such a side angle for too long. The sound is quite good and powerful (I tested it up to 40), I played house music from a USB stick and it sounded very fine for a TV. The only negative thing is that the media player doesn't play all video files, it doesn't support some movies for some reason, while a 2015 Samsung TV that I have plays everything! I have connected it to the internet with a cable and the applications (YouTube, etc.) run smoothly. I connected it via Bluetooth to a wireless speaker and it works perfectly. At the price of €340 that I bought it, it is 100% value for money! I would recommend mounting it on the wall because its legs are not that sturdy.. The evaluation refers to the 43'' model.

The sound coming from the speaker is also quite clear and nice. Perfect for everyday use and movies, no issues for PS4 games.
On the negative side, the external construction is relatively cheap and the remote control is very simple (exactly the same as the LG TV model from 2014, just with some shortcuts like Netflix, Rakuten, etc.).
If I had to pay an extra 200-300€ to avoid the negatives, the answer would be no. Therefore, it is judged as value for money and that's where it shines, hence the 5/5 rating.
As a solution for a smart controller, connect your smartphone and it will solve the typing issue and overall improve the experience.

I had it for three months, it was a gift to me, I had worked on it for about ten hours because I wanted to get a bigger table to put it on. In the end, I bought a table and put it on top, it had sound but the screen showed nothing, it was black and had a crack inside. I took it down, put it back in its box, and returned it to the eshop that my friend had ordered it from, so they could have it checked at their service center because the TV screen was not working. They checked it and told me that the screen was internally broken and they couldn't fix it. I suggested sending it to the LG dealership because it has a two-year warranty. The dealership's response was that the TV was not externally damaged, but it had a fingerprint externally and the screen was internally broken, and the warranty does not cover the screen. They told us that the cost of repairing the screen is 550 euros, while the purchase price was 399 euros. Beware, LG TVs have very fragile screens and they break with the slightest touch, and the warranty does not cover it anywhere.
