I used them in the summer to avoid changing the pool water so often. They have a strong chlorine smell, so I would put them in at night and leave them for a day to boil and get rid of the strong odor. I used the dosage mentioned in the description. The water was clean, pH neutral, and I didn't see any allergies or reactions on the children's skin. We enjoyed wild play all summer and will repeat it this year as well.
