    Three years ago, when I was looking for a laptop carrying case that also functions as a stand, I had a really hard time finding a product with these features. The Nillkin case was perhaps the only one available in Athens, with only 2-3 stores selling it.
    Two full years later, it is still the case that I use to carry my laptop [the scratches are not a problem at all], but now I had to search for a stand as well because the "little ear" that holds the bottom part of the laptop has softened and no longer securely holds it.

    I was looking for a laptop case that also functions as a stand, and this particular case does not disappoint. Initially, the quality of the materials is very good, and there is reinforcement at the corners of the case to prevent damage in case of a fall (it's good not to drop the laptop, but accidents happen). The lid closes and secures with Velcro, which is fine for now, but I am concerned about its durability in the long run. It also has two angles for placing the laptop and working. Additionally, the lid functions as a mousepad.

    When supporting the laptop (14"), the case is stable, the laptop does not overheat, and it has no durability issues. The only concern I have is that the "ear" that holds the bottom of the laptop may soften over time and become useless, but we'll see. Overall, it's a very good purchase for the money!
