I have had this camera for about 1 month and I can say that I am quite satisfied. Its installation is very easy through the Tapo application (I have an Android phone, so I don't know how it works on iOS, but it should be the same there).

Positive points:
+ I liked the quality of the image, it is quite good and clear (of course, I am always talking about the standards of IP cameras).
+ The camera's viewing angle is also satisfactory.
+ The night vision (black and white through infrared) shows very clearly even in complete darkness.
+ The motion detection works exceptionally well and the notification on the phone comes immediately.
+ The power cable is quite long, about 3 meters, so there is more flexibility in terms of placement if the socket is a bit further away.
+ The Tapo application for managing the camera is quite user-friendly.

Negative points:
- I don't know what happens to others, but occasionally the Tapo application logs me out on its own, so when I try to use it, it asks me to log in again. This happened to me twice in the same day. What will happen if motion is detected and I am not logged in?
- There are some camera features that are only available with a subscription, while other cameras from different companies provide them for free. These features include motion tracking (where the camera moves on its own to follow a person moving in the space) and uploading the recording to the cloud when motion is detected. With a free account, the recording is only stored on an SD card (if you insert one into the camera).

For every detection, it sends a Notification via the App. The control of the camera from the App is excellent. It also has a Patrol mode. If the house has a good wi-fi signal like mine, the camera's response is immediate. The connectivity is maintained even outside the house if wi-fi or data is enabled on the phone. The sound when you talk and it is played back from the camera is quite distorted. Perhaps the only negative. Based on the above and with a price of €35, we are not even discussing whether it is worth it or not.
