  I really didn't expect such a terrible printer! I haven't used it in a while because it's simply trash! It constantly loses connection, and many times it doesn't come back even with a reset. Of course, the highlight is that after 3-4 months it doesn't recognize the scanner! I uninstalled all the software 3-4 times, even the hidden files, and even formatted the computer to see if anything was left inside, but the scanner is missing! The only positive I can find is that it has relatively cheap inks.

  The printer is so bad that I really had to come here to share it. In terms of connectivity, it is unacceptable. Personally, I do not use it very often.

  Initially, I had a good impression. When I bought it, I managed to connect it to my home network relatively easily. Since I didn't use it very often, I kept it closed for long periods of time.

  The problems basically start, if not from the first month, definitely from the second, that every time I opened the printer, it could not automatically connect to the network and I had to go through the same process again, only this time the process is 10 times more difficult because in the application the printer is already set up. Even so, in the end I managed to connect it, even though it was frustrating.

  Then the problems got even worse. The printer could no longer reconnect, even if you did a factory reset. Because of this, many times I had to use the wifi-direct method, that is, direct connection with the printer to make my prints. Anyway, in the end, I managed to do it.

  Things got even worse when the printer no longer connects, not even with wifi direct. I really can't use it anymore. On the day I am writing this, I have been struggling for over an hour to make it work, and it was just a waste of time, and this comes from a person who deals with technology.

  My biggest mistake was that when I bought it, I didn't do market research. I bought the printer that the seller recommended to me based on the functions I said I wanted it to have. Big mistake, because seeing the other reviews, this particular series is extremely faulty.

  By far... one of the worst printers I have ever used. While it has very good technical specifications for its price, in practice it is useless. The first unit I purchased I connected via Wifi (HP smart (God make it smart...)...) for simple document printing. We're talking about 3-4 prints per day... MAX!! First of all, it drove me crazy to connect and configure it, and secondly, it would occasionally lose Wifi connection. Then, when it did work, it printed very slowly. To the point where you could order coffee, have the coffee delivered, and it still wouldn't have finished printing...!!! Furthermore, the ink ran out quickly with so many prints per day. I mentioned before, the first unit broke within 6 months. Something happened with the paper feed and it would jam. I spoke with HP, and I can't say anything about their immediate service...- it was replaced immediately, and even with a larger model. Despite this, even with the second unit, which I connected with a USB cable to avoid the hassle of Wifi, which supposedly should be simpler, easier, faster, and eliminate cables... even with all that, I used a USB for a more stable connection and faster printing, it is still... slow as hell!! Sometimes it prints relatively quickly, but sometimes it takes a quarter to produce the print...! As for the ink, I mentioned it earlier, it's the same story. Excessive consumption for the cost of the ink...! What a shame...!!! I also have an EPSON WF 2530 for about 10 years. It's a joy to print with, wired or wireless. No delays, no issues, 4 independent and affordable ink cartridges, I print from anywhere with it. It's a reliable machine. Laptop, mobile... it hasn't said no in all these years...! Stay away from the ENVY series...

  Among its great features, automatic double-sided printing, automatic scanning (you feed the pages and it scans on its own), modern design, fairly quiet, and excellent software (prints flawlessly from mobile).

  However, on a Mac 2021 computer, the installation was a nightmare, the test color ink from the package didn't work, and other similar issues. BUT: The technical phone support is excellent, they send you the first set of inks within 2 days, and in short, once the printer is properly set up, it works like a charm.

  I simply wouldn't recommend it to someone who wants a printer to print 1000 pages from day one because, besides the installation, the initial inks are only good for a few pages. :)

  Huge connectivity problems without any support from HP. The ranking is slightly improved if you set a static IP and use DNS from Google or Cloudfare, but it still remains unacceptable.

  If it gets stuck or you can't find it on the network, a restart will temporarily solve the issue. If you print frequently, you may need a second restart within a day.

  One star reluctantly, and only for insta ink, which truly seems to be the future in terms of inks.
