Connect the Kilburn II wirelessly to your smartphone, tablet, or computer via Bluetooth 5.0 APTX and listen to music without cables.
The Kilburn II is a portable active speaker, free from the constraints of cables. The built-in battery lasts over 20 hours and won't let you down during any jam session, no matter where you are. Additionally, you can also connect it via a 3.5 mm jack.
The Kilburn II comes with a durable design so you can take it with you everywhere, as in addition to the classic vintage design of Marshall, it also features water resistance with IPX2 certification.

The speaker is of very good quality.
Unfortunately, as someone else also shared similar information,
it burned out for no reason within one year. Luckily, it was under warranty and they replaced it for me. Unfortunately, it burned out again, this time out of warranty, and of course they told me it's for the trash.
Very good speaker in terms of sound and build quality. One very big negative, which I haven't been able to disable yet, is that after 10 minutes of being inactive, without playing anything, even if it remains connected via Bluetooth, it goes into standby mode and you have to press a button to start it again. It doesn't start again if you simply play something from your computer/phone. And it doesn't make a difference if it's plugged in and charging or not. So, if you just want to have it permanently on somewhere in the house and play something whenever you want, it's not possible.
Pros: Very good sound with deep sweet bass, lightweight, nice design, sturdy construction.
Cons: Do not expect more than 4 hours of operation at full volume, the sound loses quality at low intensity.
Exceptional speaker, beautiful and very powerful!!!
I bought this specific speaker for 220 through a store in Glyfada.
In the first week, it suddenly stopped working on its own as if it burned out.
Fortunately, they immediately replaced it for me at the store.
Unfortunately, after a year of excellent use (it is not portable, it is stationary in one spot in the house and it charges completely), it suddenly burned out again without any reason.
Please stay away from the compared model, it's a waste of money. Better go for a Chinese Jbl.
It connects directly to iPad, iPhone. However, connecting Android devices is not easy (some connect, others don't see it, etc). It works continuously without any interruption with iOS devices. The sound is of high quality and satisfactory for a large or small room - it plays equally well outdoors.
The sound quality is what one expects from a Marshall speaker at these watts. Clean, it has a wide range, and the settings from the buttons for bass and treble help with small adjustments to everyone's taste. Heavy buttons that give you a feeling of quality. Weighing 2.5 kilograms does not make it portable in the sense that you throw it in a backpack and go, but you can carry it to other spaces, for example, inside the house. A gem in my opinion, and much more powerful than it seems
If you are not interested in the speaker control, USB charging, waterproofing, and smart capabilities, but purely in sound quality and portability, I think it is the best for the money (€189).
I would put a star but it doesn't suit my heart for Marshall!
It has nothing substantial to present compared to its predecessor, it is lighter, more powerful and smaller but the differences do not exceed 5%.
It is much uglier because it lost its vintage look and a little more user-friendly in its connections. The removal of the on-off button is a big failure (now it opens like old car cassette players by turning the volume towards high).
In conclusion:
It goes without saying that upgrading from 1 to 2 is NOT worth it.
Centuries ahead in terms of construction quality and sound compared to the competition. The only one playing in the same league in these areas is the HK Onyx Studio 5. Speaking always in the same price range.
Well done to Marshall once again for the sound experience it offers.
