The knife santoku by Icel with a blade length of 18cm, is the Japanese version of the Chef's knife. It is slightly shorter, thinner, and has a flat blade. It is ideal for meat, especially for cutting bones, fish, and vegetables. It is less suitable for finely chopping herbs, but it is the best choice for thin slices of vegetables. It has a large blade and a surface that helps prevent food from sticking during cutting, while the curved tip aids in slicing. It is made of stainless steel, a popular material for knives, it is particularly durable and does not corrode. It is a combination of carbon and iron as a base, and chromium is added to repel stains and give the blade a glossy finish.

After about a year of use, I can confidently say that it is a very durable, stable, and ergonomic knife. It is worth more than its price. It is very sharp; just remember to avoid tomatoes, lemons, and generally acidic foods to prevent it from dulling
I was torn between this and the Wüsthof Santoku! I bought it because I wanted to support a Portuguese company instead of a German one. My butcher only uses ICEL and he recommended it to me.
Okay, it's amazing. It cuts very nicely, I use it for easy cuts and it's divine. At first, it may seem slightly less sturdy compared to the knives on the block. In two days, it will not leave your hands.
It says "Mind your own hands" on top, I think about it every day before I cut.. It shaves. Don't leave it unwashed, after each use, wash, wipe, and store. I don't let it touch other metal objects.
Very good choice, lightweight, sharp, and comfortable in hand. It has become essential in my kitchen for everything
