My previous fan was the Xiaomi Smartmi Pedestal Fan 2S. I have had it for two years and I am very satisfied. An old AEG fan that I had as a backup broke, so I decided to order the SmartMi Standing Fan 3. There are not many differences except for the remote control that the new one has and a bar on the column that shows the speed you have selected for the fan, the Wi-Fi connection, and whether you have selected the ionizer function. The positives are that within the app that controls it from your mobile phone, it shows the temperature and humidity of the room it is in.
It is very good. Generally, I have an issue with the noise and this doesn't bother me. It is very low and pleasant. It has a remote control, but from the mobile you can control more functions.
Update: when I don't use it for a few hours (either with battery or with cable), it goes offline on the app and I can't use it even with the remote control. I have to press the button on the fan a few times and then it starts working again from the app and I see it online. Others have the same issue
The fan is very good. Quiet on the low setting (especially for sleep, it's the best). The only problem is that it constantly creates disconnects in the wifi and the internet cuts off. It seems strange to me that no one else has mentioned it.
Very convenient, it can operate without electricity thanks to the built-in battery for up to approximately 20 hours. Lightweight, it can be easily transported.
The best thing about this fan. A doll in design and the most important thing is that it has a battery and is easily portable. In other words, you don't need to look for a socket if you want to go to the kitchen, bathroom, or another room for a while. Also, I have it plugged in all night (night power) and I have it on battery all morning. As for battery life, at level 1 it lasts unknown for how long, I haven't exhausted it in a continuous 10-hour period. At full, I think it lasts about 3 hours.
Nice handling through the app, especially if you're too lazy to get up and fix it. Worth it for its price!
I'll finish with the "Natural" mode, it's the best. It's like a sweet breeze coming in from the window.
It loses one star due to its price. I believe that most people are not accustomed to spending so much money on a fan. However, this particular fan has so many functions and capabilities that could justify the price, as long as you take advantage of what it offers. It is quite short and discreet, so it can be easily stored and does not take up much space. The power cable is small and unfortunately attaches to the base with a simple clip, unlike the 2s model which has a different, more user-friendly mechanism. It is also not foldable like the 2s. The small screen it has is nice, but personally, it leaves me indifferent. However, the remote control is convenient, even though it only has basic functions such as on/off and right/left rotation. The head can be manually adjusted up/down. Through Xiaomi Home, it can be used in any automation with any other device within the application. Through Google Home, it functions as a simple switch, on/off. The connection to Google Home is made through Smartmi Family and not through Mi Home, but by entering the Mi Home credentials. For some reason, it does not appear as a device in Google Assistant routines, although it can be voice-controlled. This is solved when, after creating the routine, you select ADD ACTION>TRY ADDING YOUR OWN... and then simply write in English what you want it to do when the specific routine is executed. I hope the screenshots from the application will help.
There are more powerful fans, but it excels in everything else...
The first two speeds are quiet, but after 3-4 it starts to make a little noise.
On the first speed, it produces a very gentle breeze, which I sleep with. On the 4th speed, it produces a good amount of air at a long distance, but it doesn't reach the level of a large expensive fan at maximum speed.
If you control it from your phone, it has 100 speeds, and it remains quiet until 54, but at 55 the noise increases noticeably.
The screen is very dim with 100 brightness settings or complete shut-off. I have it on 1 and it doesn't bother me while sleeping.
It is small and doesn't take up much space, with very good build quality. The column is made of Anodized Aluminum.
It has a highly accurate temperature and humidity sensor, which you can see on your phone no matter where you are!
It has a built-in battery, which is convenient for moving it around without cables! I would like it to also display the battery percentage, although it lasts a long time...

It never disconnects for any reason, as mentioned before. We also bought a second one for another house, and it never disconnects...

Completely silent on the 1st and 2nd setting, and then a very tolerable sound. Cools perfectly, battery lasts >5 hours (maybe the duration will decrease over time). The remote control and mobile app are also great. A very good choice, although I don't know if one can find something similar for less money, as I didn't search extensively.
