Ancient philosophy can be viewed from the perspective of the metaphysics of history, which already in Aristotle is revealed as theological; The originality of this book lies in its approach to the metaphysical/theological substratum of ancient Greek philosophical inquiries, not by exploring the history of terms common with Christian theology, but through a method of existential correlation. Thus, a series of deeper theological/metaphysical demands of ancient philosophy are highlighted, to which Christian theology has managed or is obliged to respond.
