    Stainless steel, with double wall, maintains the temperature of the water/beverage, the straw is fine, my son had no problem with it... However, the issue is that the lid breaks very easily if it falls down. I would expect something more sturdy, with thicker and more durable plastic for its price. If the lid breaks, it is no longer leak-proof because it seals the straw when closed to prevent water from coming out. We are lucky because even though it has broken, it can still be fastened and remain watertight.
    *I have glued it twice but it breaks again because the plastic is very thin.
    I would not recommend it for school or activities where it will likely fall down several times.

    The bottle is perfect. Beautiful, durable over time and in use. The straw is for crying and unfortunately "pulls" the entire construction to the bottom. I bought 3, 2 of them broke from the first month of use. My 3.5-year-old chewed and destroyed the straw, and my 7-year-old son lost it. I bought some replacements that I found, not exactly the same but I cared about saving the bottle. Unfortunately, the construction of the cap is such that if the straw breaks or is lost (it comes with a small cap, it is a rubber construction that allows water to come out and air to enter without leaks), the whole bottle becomes useless. Joy in its beauty and construction... I bought it for the better and ultimately regretted it.
