Basically, they are the v2 in a different color with a case and new noise cancellation. If you take care of them as they are made to last, they will last you 3-4 years. Surround sound is top-notch, bass is strong at medium volume with some adjustments like the bass boost at 30%. The microphone is very clear, but you need to learn how it works. Otherwise, for 90 euros, if you play esports, get it with your eyes closed. It works for music too, but at 100 euros, if you're into music, you won't choose Razer.

Excellent sound quality! Really, for this price, there are no better headphones. The sound card makes a big difference. The cable has a very good length, while the case is a plus, especially for those who travel. I have nothing to say about the microphone, because I have another external microphone that I use. I am referring to the Special Edition version.
Everything mentioned in the comments is really true; the headphones are extremely comfortable and their sound isolation is excellent! I am satisfied with the sound itself, although I admit it seemed a bit strange at first, but I believe it is due to the fact that I had been using earbuds for years and wasn't used to large headphones with surround sound (which I would say is perfect surround). However, I think I should inform you about a problem I encountered. When trying to connect the headphones to my laptop, there was no issue using the 3.5 jack, but after downloading the Razer app for further sound settings and using the TXH through the sound card (via USB), the sound was terrible with interruptions, "clicks," and fluctuations. I eventually solved the problem after two days of research online where I saw others had the same issue. Apparently, about eleven months ago, a major update was released that caused problems on various devices, but with several other updates, Razer tried to fix it. So if anyone encounters the same problem, they essentially need to uninstall the Razer app and download the latest version and set the headphones as the main audio output on their laptop. This could be a reason for me to give 4 stars, but given all the other features, I give it 5, but I will revisit in the future if something changes. I recommend them; in any case, I have no other complaints, the microphone is satisfactory and detachable, the headphones themselves have a very nice color and come in a very stylish case. Very good choice for anyone who spends a lot of time on the PC. They have good surround sound for those interested, and very good isolation/application.
With Razer's software, they have two modes. One with much more dynamic sound and better surround for gaming, etc., and one with better quality and sound balance.
The only issue is that they can't operate simultaneously, so if you're listening to music while playing, it will sound a bit strange.
The best part for me is how comfortable and lightweight they are. They don't tire me out even if I wear them for many hours.
The microphone is quite good for a headset and is detachable.
The only reason I don't give 5 stars is that they have the classic problem that all Razer products have, the Volume Knob. The potentiometer that controls the volume is guaranteed to break over time, resulting in different volume levels between the left and right.
I had two pairs; the first one broke after about 10 months, I replaced it under warranty, and it broke again in six months. For the second pair, I've decided not to use it at all and to adjust the volume only from the computer; it's been almost 9 months, and so far it has held up.
Finally, I should clarify that I use them with the sound card they come with, meaning via USB. I imagine it would be worse if I used them with the jack, but I don't know.
I bought them for the first time in early 2020. Very comfortable as headphones and their fit doesn't tire as much as those from Razer. Fortunately, after 3 years of use, the only issue I had was that the left ear cushion completely detached from the headphones; I got another identical pair last year and everything is running smoothly. I must emphasize, as other owners have mentioned, that the microphone has compression when using the headphones through the USB sound card provided. Although not very noticeable, there is a difference in the sound the mic gives when connected directly to an aux. It’s not a problem because even then you can be heard quite clearly to be understood. Overall, I am very satisfied with these, and if this pair happens to break, I will return to them again without a second thought.
Coming from the Kraken 7.1 v2, the change seems not worth it. On the positive side, the comfort and the microphone are good, but the sound is poor. I play FPS games, and the 7.1 v2 was much better. After 2-3 hours of YouTube videos, Reddit, and a lot of searching in the EQ, I found a good balance, but I am still not satisfied
Either I don't know about headphones or most of the reviews have been sponsored by Razer for a good rating. The surround sound is terrible... the bass is mediocre to awful, comfort... fine, microphone is fine but I'm sorry, I didn't buy headphones for a good microphone but to take my gaming experience to the next level like all of us here, my previous headsets were very low budget, the first at €24.99 and the most recent at €40. And honestly, I'm telling you, the sound was much better and much more detailed. Thank you to all the Razer sheep who led me to buy these headphones. Victim of marketing, victim of capitalism. I hope you who are reading this think twice before making your purchase... I am not at all satisfied, I'm barely crying over my money... I have a 2-year warranty, I wish something would happen so I could get my €80 back... Good evening, one week after using the product I think I am very satisfied after all, the surround is very satisfactory in the end... the next day it was as if it fixed itself... the bass is very good and they are quite loud, and comfortable of course after long use, I have issues with the microphone but I think it just needs a little adjustment in the Razer settings... so I will update on how that went in another phase, the headphones are good but I think they are very, very expensive resulting in me not being sure if I would choose them again in case they break in the future... but if nothing else, they do their job well one week after the purchase... talk to you in a month!!
They are very good headphones, they really worth their money, they are sturdy and made of good materials, the only thing that feels a bit "fake" is the volume adjustment wheel, but overall they are very good. If someone downloads the Razer software, they will get the full experience. They also have very good sound isolation
Simply wonderful! Noise Cancelling, comfortable fit for every ear size. The sound is simply perfect. A little bit pricey, but worth it. Additionally, they come with a perfect storage case.
After almost two months of almost daily use, I can say that they are among the best headphones I have tried in this budget worth buying worth using.

Good sound isolation, lightweight, comfortable for many hours, and for their price, they have good sound. I simply suggest getting the wireless ones with an additional 40 euros, as you will be able to change the cable after 1-2 years so that they last longer. Also, when you are in a browser or if you simply have them on full volume, there is a static sound if nothing is playing, but if you lower the volume or play something, it goes away.
Let's keep it simple and short:
1) Perfect microphone. With the right settings, the microphone is like a professional one for Podcasts.
2) Very good sound. With the EQ setting option, you can "shake" your brain from the bass and the sound, which is crystal clear and has THX Spatial Sound & Surround Sound.
3) It is VERY, VERY LIGHT! I forget I'm wearing them. It's a design marvel. With such quality materials being so light, like a feather.
4) Many options for effects and additions to the microphone and headphone EQs. You can customize your sounds from scratch and how the headphones react to every detail! For gamers and music lovers, this is extremely useful.
5) Plug & Play: Once I connected it, it worked. No further knowledge or settings are needed if you're a casual type who just wants the simplest. Just plug them in and boom. Ready. However, for the tech nerds who want to go through special settings, that option is also available.
6) Very nice and quality buttons that do not wobble and are very stable. A microphone mute button and a very addictive and smooth "dial" for headphone sound adjustment (NOT WINDOWS, THE HEADPHONES).
7) The Special Edition I got comes in a very nice and cute package with an extremely quality case with nice colors and materials and 3 pockets with quality zippers.
8) They do not heat up and do not make you hot. Especially for summer with the heat, your ears won't sweat as they are cool and have special Gel that prevents sweat, etc.
9) And finally, ambient sound. It neither does this well nor poorly. It cancels out quite a few noises around you but you can comfortably hear if your mother is calling you to take out the trash (let's add a bit of humor).
10) Build quality: Very high quality and sturdy. The cushions are extremely soft and comfortable. At first, it may seem like it's ready to break, especially with the thin rods at the edges, but they are very sturdy and the height adjustment is VERY, VERY SMOOTH!!!

I bought them through a gift card from Plaisio. So far, I am extremely satisfied with their performance. The ear cushions are very comfortable and overall they are very lightweight. They are perfect for long hours of gaming. The 7.1 really makes a difference both in music and games. The microphone quality is decent for its price, but it cannot be compared to non-detachable ones. I am also afraid that due to frequent plugging and unplugging, the port where the 3.5mm jack of the microphone enters will gradually wear out (that's why 4 stars)
I bought them yesterday. I really have no words. For 100 € total including shipping and cash on delivery, they are worth 100% of their money. The sound is incredible and the bass sounds perfect. You can make changes through thx spatial audio, so that the bass sounds louder, and customize the sound as you want through the eq. As for their construction, they are extremely lightweight and comfortable. They fit perfectly on everyone's head, and you can wear them for as many hours as you want without your head getting tired. The headband must be made of quality leather. The ear cushions are very soft. The microphone is good, it's not bad, but for game chat or discord it does its job well and there is no background noise at all.
Well.... what can I say about these headphones. First of all, I will start with the build quality: they are comfortable and very lightweight without making them cheap. The two wires for adjusting the headphones to each earcup seem cheap and like they won't hold, but I was wrong. They have very soft cushions on both the earcups and the headband, which makes them comfortable for extended use. For gaming, the sound is excellent as it immediately allows me to understand where the enemy's footsteps are coming from in games like Counter-Strike, giving me the impression that I have wallhacks (take it from Axel, not me). For music, I didn't expect much, but I was impressed by the quality of the soundstage. You can really distinguish where the bass, mids, and highs are coming from, which didn't disappoint me at all for gaming headphones. We're talking about detailed sound and with the use of an equalizer, a fairly flat sound, if not with emphasized bass, which I like because I don't feel the bass as "muddy". It's worth noting that the headphones come with a sound card and a detachable microphone, which I didn't have the opportunity to use since I have the Razer Seiren Mini, another good microphone from the company. TL;DR: These headphones are definitely worth their price and more, and I consider them a decent investment in headphones that will not only last but also be enjoyable to use during their lifespan. I will simply tell you things so that you don't waste your money. First of all, I bought the kraken about 2 years ago. Of course, I'm not here to evaluate the kraken but the v2. However, it's worth mentioning that the kraken were simply useless for the first 2 months. The cushions started releasing all the filling and there was a color as if you had put it in galvanized. Also, the wheel was problematic from the beginning and after 2 months, you simply couldn't lower it because it lost balance on the right and left. Simply put... I wasted 50 euros. Okay, I said I'll go and buy the v2 from a well-known chain for 120 euros, they should be good... WRONG. As soon as I opened the box, the truth is that I was amazed because they look very high quality... I put them on, listened to them, and yes, they have AMAZING sound. BUT... after about 3 months, the problem with the wheel and these starts. When I have them at maximum, it gives to the left and when I lower it, it gives to the right. And here we are talking about 120 euro headphones that are essentially useless since the balance DOES NOT WORK IN 3 MONTHS correctly when you increase or decrease the volume. I also fell for the marketing... I will never touch a euro in this company again. The build quality is really a joke. Do not fall into the trap of advertising. I wrote my opinion and what I experienced with 2 razer headphones... nothing more.
I bought them for 40 euros 4-5 months ago and I have to say they are perfect! In terms of comfort in the ear and fit, and the construction is all perfect! The only downside is that the microphone is overly sensitive, meaning even if you breathe it can be heard, but other than that, it's full value for money and I believe it's one of the best choices for headphones!
After 4 months, the right speaker started to crackle. It's not very noticeable but it's annoying for me, as I am also into car audio besides gaming. I am a bit of an enthusiast and I am already thinking of buying a reputable brand that specializes in audio coverage.

There is a small but constant static noise. Much better than any wireless I've tried! The ears "burn" mainly in the summer but overall comfortable.
The headphones are not good. I decided to go for razer after years and of course I regretted it again. The sound quality is mediocre to bad, razer-like. The surround is satisfactory, but what's the point if you hear a blur. Never again razer (headphones).
Very nice headset, it can be a bit tiring on the ear after a few hours of continuous use, but not to the point of bothering you. The microphone is excellent compared to the old Razer Kraken ones I had, and the build quality is very decent.
From Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma, then Razer Kraken Tournament edition and now the BlackShark V2... Initially, my complaints are as follows... each "Cup" is held by only 2 metal pieces. I don't know if it will last over time. After 3 hours of continuous use, pain in the right ear, although the cushions are soft with a good feel. + this leatherette that after 1.5 years starts to peel, come on Razer... Anyway, they seem sturdy, have a good weight, nice although thin braided cable, plastic to manage the cable and a dust bag just for that little extra. (I would have preferred an extra pair of earcups, maybe in another material) The microphone is okay for gaming headphones, it connects and disconnects easily. The sound is good, I remember the previous Razer headphones having slightly better low-mid frequencies. Purchased for 78 euros... don't buy them if they are more expensive. These are my comments after a day and a half with the headphones, I will return to edit if something goes wrong! Edit: On Black Friday the price dropped to 57! Now they are definitely worth it! Edit: after 2 years they have not suffered anything at all, not even the leatherette, like new. The price, however, has skyrocketed due to unavailability, don't prefer them at the current price of 135 euros...
After several positive reviews, I decided to try another gaming headset. Disappointment, the sound is excessively V-shaped, it feels claustrophobic, and when I turn on the THX, it’s like listening from inside a cave. The imaging direction is almost non-existent, and all you can perceive is left and right; for example, in a game, when someone is on the upper floor and walking above you, you can't pinpoint exactly where they are. It has a USB DAC amp that is, logically, for crying; the volume knob on the side, after a while, makes noise when you turn it. The mechanism that moves up and down on one side is tight, and on the other side, it’s loose. Passive noise cancellation is almost non-existent, which I expected with these fabric ear cushions they have.
On the positive side... Economically, for this price, they are lightweight, comfortable, have a good mic for their price, and with a THX ONYX that I tested them with (the mic works too), they become MUCH better; yes, with V-shape, but now they have volume, detail, and the imaging has some layers, it’s not vague. Nothing special. Those who want to understand what I’m writing should try the HD560s, DT770, DT990, PC38X, SHP9500, R70x, HD660s, X2HR, and about 20 other headphones.
Update... The volume potentiometer, when I turn it all the way up, the left headphone sounds louder... it has also given up on us.
Perfect headphones and thanks to Razer's software, you can play around with the sound of the headphones and the microphone. Compared to the Logitech G933 wireless headphones, I can say that the only thing the Logitech headphones excel in is the bass. The microphone is very good, although it can pick up minimal sound from the mouse and keyboard. You don't sweat if you wear the headphones, which would concern anyone during the summer. They have a mute button on the back of the left headphone that I like, as well as a lever for volume control. It's hard to find something better at their price

For 70+ I don't know if they are worth that much, however, the Razer USB sound card it comes with is very good and works well with other headphones (there is no Razer Blackshark v2 X). They have good sound direction, like other gaming headphones, and have one of the best microphones for computer headphones.
Now, for use without the Razer sound card, they are like the X, slightly inferior in all aspects, but still get the job done.
For music, they are not the best if you are a musician or an audiophile, but they still provide satisfactory music quality.
The extra SHX audio that Razer recommends you activate doesn't do much, and sometimes when you activate it, the sounds get mixed up. It's better to understand where the opponent is coming from in the game when it's deactivated. The volume is normal, not too loud or too low.
The cable is satisfactory and the fit is good for everyone, with enough isolation from the environment. Since I have similar headphones from an unknown brand for 25€, I can say that they are not three times better, but they are definitely twice as good and worth 60€.
But finding something better for under 70€ is difficult, unless you change your preferences for microphone and sound.
If you have 70€ for gaming headphones, go for it without much thought.
They have good sound and good bass (if you download Razer Synapse, you can adjust the sound and microphone). The microphone is decent, comfortable, and lightweight. After hours of gaming, my ears don't hurt. The build quality is solid, but they may require some attention. I believe they are worth their money
