It is what you need, its air flow is satisfactory at a distance of about 4-5 meters and in combination with the mi home application, the overall experience is very good. The noise it makes at maximum intensity personally doesn't bother me, I can't understand some of the comments, maybe the noise of the refrigerator bothers them. I highly recommend it without reservation!
I can't part with it, the best I've had so far, especially for sleeping since I can't stand noises, it didn't bother me! It's short but you can use your hand to tilt the top part upwards so it blows higher if you want it to.
Stylish fan with smart features.
It's not as small as some describe.
In the photo, I have it next to a classic standing fan.
Besides the left-right rotation function, which is greater than my old one, you can also tilt it up and down, so it covers every desired position.
When connected via the app, it takes off as you can manually rotate it left and right, limit the rotation radius to less than 180 degrees, and you have unlimited speed settings (it goes from 0-100%). You can even limit the degrees of rotation without moving the fan by centering it on the position it is currently facing.
Very useful since you don't need to lift the fan from its base to center it somewhere.
And in terms of power, it performs well, reaching about 60/70% of the airflow of a regular 40-inch 50W fan.
Where Xiaomi let us down is with the cable, which they really skimped on.
It should have at least double the length.
Nevertheless, I give it 5 stars because it was exactly what I expected and even better.
Excellent for a room. Modern, silent when set to medium intensity, perfect breeze function that mimics natural airflow and helps prevent sudden chills, compatible with home automation. Also, it does not have a built-in battery, and I initially chose it for that reason; batteries wear out after 2-3 years at most, and I don't want to worry about the fan's battery. What can I say, full value for money.
*It is so silent that in the summer I often forgot it was on for days, but it has low consumption, so cool? In fact, it has a maximum consumption of 15w, with a new type motor that never needs maintenance because it doesn't use carbon brushes. At half or a quarter of the intensity that I usually use it, it consumes 4 - 7w, as much as an LED bulb.
Okay guys, it's expensive. 89 euros for a fan is not little. BUT. Silent with smart features and scenarios and really amazing design. Very important, the air quality. Even on the low setting, it disperses it far with the way it swirls. It's perfect for the bedroom. Negative, very short cable, you will need +5 euros for an extension.
I was looking for a fan that would be silent and have low intensity on the first speed. This is the third one I’ve tried, and it really does what I want. The first one, Kerosun Kbel-16s, had a very strong first speed and was extremely noisy. I gave it away. Then I got a Primo PRTF-80621, worse than the first one. It was returned (video or comparison between this and the Xiaomi). Day and night. When I turned on the Xiaomi, I said YES MAN, THIS IS IT!! Super easy connection with the app, which is essential for its maximum functionality. The only thing that bothered me was the price, which I saw was at 50-60€ and now it’s at 80€.
When I saw 15 watts I thought it would be weak, but a friend convinced me who bought a second one for another room this year. The fan is initially very elegant, you can put it in a corner in the living room and it does its job. I have it hitting me all night at 40-50% power and I wonder about some who say it's weak. I put it in the little one's room at night in a mode that has "natural breeze" and finally the little one stopped sweating. I am barely holding back from buying a second one this year.
We returned it to get another one. It is very small, very short, and blows like a handheld fan. No, no, it's a very bad purchase and very expensive for what you ultimately receive!
Easy assembly and future storage possibility in its box as well as easier cleaning. Easy setup from the app menu but also from the buttons on top. Very good performance for its size, at low speeds it is not noisy. It is not thin like older models and by removing one piece it becomes almost floor-standing. I would recommend it at a price of 80€.
Second season in continuous use at home and I am very satisfied. The airflow does not resemble that of other fans, it is clearly gentler. It cools on level 2 at a distance of 2.5 meters from my position. A very good fan.
If you want a fan without noise, then you found it...... only if you put it on maximum power, you hear minimal noise..... it blows quite well even at lower levels..... it connects to Xiaomi home and has many settings
Okay, it's obviously expensive, but it delivers on what it promises. I also have a cheap one with a remote control, but like all cheap fans, the first speed is way too strong and noisy to use for sleeping, and the third is like a tornado and sounds like an airplane (I never used it). This one, on the other hand, starts with the first speed, which is a gentle breeze, and I need to have it next to me for it to do anything. From the second speed onwards, I sleep with a gentle breeze and quietly. Beyond that, I have it on the third speed in the living room, and it covers me perfectly (I don't know what others expect from a fan. To have it 10 meters away?). I haven't used the fourth speed yet, but it's also relatively quiet (the airflow makes noise, not the humming that usually comes from the blades). From the app, it doesn't just have four speeds, but a slider that allows you to adjust the airflow exactly where you want it. The fact that you can change the rotation angle and direction of the fan remotely is also very convenient. The natural breeze feature serves its purpose if you want a sense of naturalness and not to be hit by air at the same intensity all the time (I use this for sleeping). In conclusion, it's an expensive but satisfying purchase. If I had known there was such a difference in quality, I wouldn't have wasted the 40 euros on the cheap one, but would have bought this one directly. I'm giving it four stars because I think if it were 70-80 euros, it would be a must-buy
Excellent! Quiet even on a large scale, and the natural breeze is exceptional. The application is extremely convenient, speed adjustment, degree selection. A strong purchase.
Nice fan. So much so that I am thinking of getting a second one for another part of the house. Good, well-designed construction reminiscent of Xiaomi products. Can be used both on the floor and on a table. In natural breeze mode (sending air irregularly) it is still quiet even at maximum speed. There is also the classic option, called direct in the app, where it sends the air in a constant flow. There, at maximum speed, you can hear it working but it is a clean fan. Many usage options (angle adjustment, rotation with angle delay, timer, button lock, routines). It could have been cheaper to be fair but ok.
I bought it about 2 years ago so I wouldn't have to use the air conditioner when I needed a little coolness.
I would say it still does its job very satisfactorily and I easily get through months like May, June (early), and September without using the air conditioner at all and the rest with reduced use.
It is quiet, powerful, and quite efficient at the normal setting, but you only notice the Natural Breeze setting at max and generally I don't use it often.
Although it works without it, the app makes it easier to use and adapt to everyone's preferences.
Finally, I would like to add that the disassembly is quick and the transportation much easier compared to fans of this size.
Although it is more expensive, I believe it is worth the extra for the additional features and good performance.
The best thing for people who want to control the device remotely, I have placed it relatively far away from me for when I work from home and I open it with my mobile. The breeze is perfect for the evening because I don't like to have it on full, the best thing for its price!
The fan is great and quiet. Very economical with several smart functions. Since I control it via Voice control, I would like it to have an option for rotation and changing the intensity of the mode. I found the "breeze" mode relatively silly. The price is quite high.
80+ euros, for a fan that is 15 Watts, and that in order to feel a light breeze you have to have it at 4 (because it doesn't go higher) is a huge NO. Because we are talking about a breeze. If you have it at 1, I don't even discuss it, take it out of the socket, you won't notice the difference. The mistake was mine, for not looking at the Watts and being swayed by the design and the good reviews. What kind of reviews are these, guys? I mean, you give almost 100 euros for a... fan to make you air? What can I say! Of course, it was returned.
I give it 5 stars because it covers everything I was looking for.
On the highest setting, it is as powerful as the previous one that was 50w and it definitely makes noise from the air, but not from the plastic which is of good quality.
I had some difficulty connecting it to the app, if you have an iPhone, try disabling the IP detection restriction, after that it connected immediately.
It seems to be quiet on the lower settings, I will find out tonight when I test it in complete silence.
That was the reason for buying this one, instead of a cheaper one, since I can't sleep with a noisy fan at night.
The fan has impressed me. When I opened it, I was somewhat disappointed because it seemed small to me. But in operation, it is truly perfect. The first two settings are classically low and quiet. The next two settings are the ones that most people would use, and they are satisfactory even when I have it in the large living room. Even at four or five meters, it blows normally. And the noise is tolerable and much less compared to an older one. You only hear the air. It does not have any chassis creaking or anything like that. It is very easy to connect to a mobile phone, but it also works without an application. Also, the natural breeze function is perfect for a peaceful sleep. As for the height, it suits me even though it is low. Anyway, you never stand upright in front of the fan, you will either be lying down or sitting. But even if you want it to blow higher, you can tilt it upwards and everything is fine. Overall, I do not consider the height to be a problem.
Also, I should not forget to mention the very good feature (which can only be done through the application) of adjusting the angle it rotates from 30 to 140 degrees.
I have purchased 2. It is an excellent fan and primarily quiet. The natural breeze function feels like a gentle breeze coming through the window every now and then.
Purchase on 7/23, I will mention some information to help those who are considering buying it. The fan is more suitable for an office or a small room, even with the two extensions it is very short and, combined with the small diameter of the blades, makes it look like a children's toy. The first two speeds are practically non-existent in terms of performance, but they are quite quiet. Of course, it is very energy-efficient, with quality plastics, and has Wi-Fi capability with the Xiaomi application. Also, something that bothers me is the very short power cord.
Quiet, small in size, connects very easily with the corresponding app. Maybe not ideal for large rooms. Pay attention to assembly! It would get 5 stars if its price was around 55 euros.
It is almost silent, without causing any disturbance though. At the 4th speed, the power is satisfactory. The only negative aspect is that its price has significant fluctuations. If you find it between 50-65, get it without a second thought.
I had seen it on a friend of mine before buying it and I was thrilled. I use it in a room that is mainly hit from behind. When it is set at about 4 levels, you can barely hear that there is something in the room. At about the middle, at 3 meters, it blows quite a bit, so the 4th level is almost never used. I really like its design, but that is fully subjective. The app is very convenient, as you can even set it to tilt up to 140 degrees horizontally. One negative thing I would find is the short cable, because in my house the outlets/switches are at 1.20m from the floor, so I have to have it almost against the wall, since the cable is connected to the fan's base.
Today I received the fan at the price of 59 euros including shipping.
In no way can you call it "Quiet"...
Unless you compare it to a simple - cheap fan that sounded like a helicopter.
Now all those who write the best about the "Quiet" fan, obviously do not know the real meaning of the word "Quiet"...
You can barely hear it on the 1st setting...
But that automatically means that you must have air conditioning in the room, otherwise you will suffocate, because the air on the first setting is a small caress...
If you put it on the second setting and above, it makes noise...
At 59 euros including shipping, I don't think it's worth buying...
If I had seen it earlier in operation, I would never have given 59 euros to buy it... because it makes the same noise as my old 20 euro fan, Neotech WLSF-4057 brand.
A fair price for the XIAOMI fan would be around 35 euros and that for the convenience of operating it from the mobile phone.
For prices of 80 to 100 euros, not by any means... better add the same amount and get an air conditioner.
It is almost silent, without causing any disturbance though. In the 4th speed, the power is satisfactory. The only negative is that its price has significant fluctuations, and at 88 that I bought it, I still don't know if it's worth it, time will tell. If you find it between 50-65, get it without a second thought. For example, I made a mistake and bought it for 88, and after a day, the price dropped to 78
Even though I ordered the supposed 38W version of the Standing Fan 2 this is what I received (a 38W version doesn't actually exist). But Skroutz made up the difference in price quickly and painlessly, and the fan is wonderful! Don't be put off by the 15W as the type of motor means that's plenty of power. Aesthetically it's lovely, the construction is very nice quality, and the smart features are great. Although I thought the number of speeds (100?!) was a bit of a gimmick, I'm surprised how much I appreciate the ability to make small changes, and the very lowest speed is what I use at night in conjunction with the A/C. The best feature for me is the variable oscillation angle -- from 30 to 140 degrees -- so you can choose just to cover one person, or more. Also, the fact that it easily converts from a pedestal fan to a desk fan with the removable section of the stand is fabulous. Best fan I've ever owned and I'm fussy, only having been happy with Rowenta before this.
Efficient for small spaces and generally to have it at a close distance. You can adjust it through the application on natural breeze, at around 35-40 levels (in the middle) and you have coolness and quiet operation. The rotation and timer settings are very useful, but ideally connect it to google home and you will be able to program different usage routines. Finally, it is very important to connect it to 2.4 wifi to avoid connection problems with the mobile and the application.
Excellent fan, so quiet that you don't hear it at night when you sleep. Good construction, almost entirely made of plastic, several settings from the application, settings also for the left-right movement option, low power consumption.
Ideal for those who want a quiet fan for the night, the airflow is limited, but having a breeze without hearing anything is something that no other fan on the market can do.
