  It removes a lot from the hair underlayer..
  I have another brush with many small bristles and this one can remove 4 times as much as the other one with just 3 strokes..
  It is very convenient and doesn't bother my 4-month-old Golden Retriever..
  Of course, the Furminator that I have does the same thing but much more gently..
  Get this one for the underlayer and the Furminator for the longer top hairs..
  This one doesn't remove hairs.. it removes undercoat like cotton..
  I highly recommend it without hesitation

  I have bought every brush and comb available for my dog. For this particular mixed breed dog with a double coat, it is the best. Not even the furminator did such a good job (it only caught the outer coat). This one (it also has 2 different sizes, 1 on each side) catches the undercoat and removes tufts of hair.

  Of course, as I mentioned, it is suitable for my dog and breeds with medium-length undercoat. It is not suitable for dogs with short hair, such as pit bulls or pointers. Nor for Labradors or retrievers.
