Almost relationships: A trend of the times to which the ease of communication has contributed, the expression of people's desire for more flexibility and independence, repressed and unconscious fears of commitment, or the nectar of the gods whose recipe even mortals have now learned?
Surely a new model of "relationship" that seems to be here to stay. And so we open a discussion that needed to happen.
On a theoretical level, things are simple: In a romantic exchange that appears light and relaxed, "it is naive to have excessive expectations." You must enjoy the moment, whatever the other has to give, whatever you have to offer, and thus freely and spontaneously share the present without the slightest guarantee or talk about the future. This could be the manifesto of an almost relationship and at first glance, it sounds idyllic.
The problem arises with the realization that without expectation, there is no inspiration either? and this is a brutal realization even for lovers who do not share any intense feelings or the desire for them to develop. Fortunately for everyone and especially for love, people still seem unprepared to give up the search for genuine inspiration, even if it sometimes entails disappointed expectations. The risk is worth taking.
