The Puredry PDD 10200 Famous dehumidifier is ideal for permanent residences that are not adequately heated and have temperatures below 15°C for long periods of time, or are heated intermittently during the day, for holiday homes, caravans, boats, garages, workshops, etc. The blue LCD screen has brightness adjustment to avoid disturbance at night. It has a dehumidification capacity of 10-12 liters per day, features an automatic restart mechanism after a power outage, offers dehumidification operation options from 40%-80% with 5% increments, AUTO mode (50%) and CO continue (clothes drying), three fan speeds SLEEP-LOW-HIGH, 1-24 hour timer, thermometer with continuous temperature display on the LCD screen, two-stage particle air filter and HEPA-Carbon filter that absorbs unpleasant odors, toxic gases, harmful chemical smoke from cigarettes, and particles up to 0.1 micron.

We got it mainly for drying clothes and for days with high humidity. It dries clothes (including blankets) in 2-3 hours in a 25 sqm room. It makes moderate noise in regular mode. It needs to increase the volume, for example, on the TV to hear well. In sleep mode, it is weaker but still makes noise, similar to an air conditioner.
I am very satisfied with its performance as well as its consumption. I also read some comments that it makes a lot of noise and that it is not good because it does not lower the humidity below 40. Just read the instructions for use. As for the noise, it has 3 levels that you can choose from. As for the humidity, the ideal range for a home is from 45% to 55%, so theoretically it should be difficult for it to go below 40 and it is not ideal. I highly recommend it. It does what it promises!

I wanted it because of the lack of heating.

Very powerful machine. Before this, we used to wake up with humidity at 95% and now it keeps it steady at 55-60%. Quite silent, it makes an incredible white noise that lulls the baby and us to sleep! I just hope it doesn't burn its horns! If the electricity bill comes and I have a stroke, I will come back as soon as I recover!
It shuts down in about three years. Conclusion, it's good because it does what it says. I read reviews, and they range from perfect to garbage. It depends on the location of the house, the square footage, the insulation of the house, and the knowledge-requirements that someone has. In Athens, in the southern suburbs, where the humidity is around 65-75% in the winter, in a house from '77, without insulation, on the 5th floor below the roof, with central heating... We empty it twice a day when we first put it in front in November, then twice a week. It mainly works in the afternoon-evening and on sleep/auto mode for about 2 hours. The result: the kids don't cough, the bedding is dry, and the apartment heats up faster. During last year's rains, the basement flooded... I brought it downstairs, it worked continuously for a week, and I emptied it 3-4 times a day. Everything dried up. Purchased two months ago for an old house of 85 sqm with a height of 4.5 meters, I mention this because the volume of air plays a role in performance and economy. Its screen is blue in color, very nice and clear, with four buttons and an easy-to-use menu. When I first turned it on, the house had 87% humidity and I asked it for 55%, it worked continuously on the high setting for an afternoon and reached the desired level, then it would turn off and on periodically, measuring the humidity. It worked again during the night because the tank was full in the morning. It always works when I cook and take a bath. It takes 3 hours to dry synthetic clothes and 5-6 hours for wool and cotton clothes (clothes on the drying rack in the bathroom, which measures 2x3x4.5 meters, 5 sqm).
Among its many positives, it raises the room temperature by 2-4 degrees and the air conditioner works minimally. I have installed smart meters and monitor consumption, compared to before, I have 200 kWh less per month on the A/C and +115 on the dehumidifier, so I have saved money while improving the atmosphere of the house. The dehumidifier is definitely ESSENTIAL! and I regret not buying it earlier. Otherwise, the noise on the high setting is minimal and on the low setting, it's nonexistent, the same sound as a PC. The tank is easily removable, has a carrying handle and a silicone cap, and also has a silicone hose for continuous drainage when I am away from home for more than a day.
Apart from the scent that zeolite leaves, it is very good. It emits warm air and somewhat heats up the space. (Of course, its use is not intended for heating). It operates on low mode at night. During the winter, I had it continuously on for 24 hours. Also, I live next to a river. I am satisfied with the purchase.
It is the first dehumidifier I have purchased after a lot of research, thinking, and I ended up with a zeolite dehumidifier due to insufficient heating in my house.
So far, my impressions and observations after a year of use are:
1. It is beautiful with a perfect display that creates a great atmosphere at night...
2. It does its job very well and quietly, we sleep without any problems in the same room with the low fan speed, the noise at high speed is almost non-existent during the day but not at night in the same space.
3. It collects an incredible amount of water and at the same time cleans the atmosphere with a very good quality filter.
4. On stormy days, it really saved us. It was the first time that with snow and freezing temperatures outside, the windows of the house did not sweat.

Very efficient. I had an Olympus splendid with a compressor that did a mediocre job. This one with zeolite makes a big difference. Very prompt in service and Puredryhellas served me excellently within the warranty (for a small problem that arose with dust on the zeolite) without causing me any trouble and immediately.
I have had it since the end of December 2020. The first time it operated, it had a peculiar smell (not bothersome), but after 1 hour of operation, you don't notice anything because it no longer smells.
In the sleep & low mode, you don't hear anything and you can sleep comfortably in the same room, but in the high mode, it is annoying at night...!
In the first few days, it is good to have the dehumidification indicator set to high in order to quickly remove the humidity. Once the house is dry, switch it to low and you will see that it operates minimally during the day. In our house, it works when we cook, take a bath, and when we hang clothes.

The tank is quite large, in the first few days it needs to be emptied 1-2 times, but after the first week, once a day or every other day.

The zeolite smells bad. I put it in a 30 sqm room and it struggled to reduce the humidity. It took 6 hours to go from 45 to 38. I have now placed it in the basement because I couldn't stand the smell. It worked better there. From 60 to 44 in 6 hours. I hope it stops smelling.
Wonderful, it collects moisture in the frozen rooms in the basement. I had another dehumidifier that I have with a motor and it collected almost nothing and worked constantly. I bought it black because it is for the basement... but in the end, it is cute and fits easily in the living room. It is more shapeless than its white sibling that has a girlfriend
In a span of 2 years, the zeolite motor broke down twice.
The repair cost is enormous.
Damage from humidity in the house is huge during the repair period.
The house fills with mold, and I bring in a specialist to clean it and then paint with special paints.

It is a very good dehumidifier!! I have been very satisfied in the two years that I have it!! Firstly, it has a sleep function which, when activated, automatically puts it in energy saving mode, which is the best thing for people who want to operate it at night!! Secondly, the air it emits is warm, similar to the air that a stove emits, so it simultaneously warms up the house! At this point, I should mention that it also has an ionizer to clean the air!! Another thing is that the swing feature has many modes! Lastly, the service is very helpful!! I highly recommend it!!!!!
The first night it operates. In 15 hours (on LOW) I weighed about 2.4 kilograms of water in the drum...
From 66% to 56% humidity in the apartment. Noticeable difference in room temperature, the radiator seems to work less.
At the moment it is closed in the room drying clothes, so I will come back with comments on this function.
Finally, its smell is imperceptible, and this is said by someone who, when smelling a fragrance, goes out to the balcony with a headache.
Update: After 1 week of operation.
Clothes drying is satisfactory, although our old washing machine does not dry clothes well, so I don't have a good comparison to judge. The first time (sunny day) the clothes were dry after 6 hours, but it was a rainy evening (so they hadn't dried at all).
The second time it took more than 12 hours as there were 2 loads and it was raining non-stop outside.
As for the operation, it seems difficult to reach the 50% mark on Auto mode, especially when it's raining. At least for our space, which is an apartment but open on 3 sides, with the bottom empty and without heating (office) next door.
I have set it to 60% and when it's not raining, it works occasionally and stops. When it's raining, it works for many hours a day.
These are in a 60sqm apartment with 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom with open doors.
If I put it in the bedroom and close the door, it reaches 40% without any problem.
So, the positives are:
+ Warmer atmosphere and lower heating consumption
+ Good construction, low noise, easy to move
+ Good clothes drying (without a comparison measure)
Negatives:
- Difficulty in reducing humidity below 60% in an open space, especially on rainy days when external humidity is > 85%
Neutral (?):
- I noticed that the humidity indicator is quite sensitive to changes, which can be considered both good and bad. For example, when the balcony door opens, the reading goes from 55 to 65 in 10 seconds, so it jumps up, but when the door closes, it takes a while to drop back to 55.
Update
After several days of operation, I can generally say that it is a good tool and significantly improves the atmosphere.
Also, clothes drying is satisfactory.
However, regarding humidity levels, I don't see it being able to keep it below 60% without always being open.
If you don't close it properly, but I don't think it's economical to keep it running for 24 hours.
I can't compare it to anything else, but I don't think the readings are wrong because it reaches 45% in 2 hours in a closed room.
Unbelievable dehumidifier! I live in Naxos and the humidity in the house is at 70 to 80%. Within 4 hours, it brought the humidity down to 58% in a 65 square meter house. I read in the reviews that it supposedly has a smell at the beginning. Nothing, it's all nonsense, you must be overly sensitive to smell it more than the humidity itself. Quiet and efficient, I am very satisfied. I can breathe and enjoy every breath. I had an Olympia splendid compression dehumidifier before, it did the job but made a lot of noise, disturbing everyone. I had to turn it off at night because it wouldn't let me sleep and I had it in the kitchen. However, with the puredry, it's a whole different story. I have it in the hallway between our bedroom and the children's room and at night, on low speed, you can't even hear it. The wind blowing outside makes more noise. A very good purchase!
I have had it for 3 days. On the first day, it quickly reduced the humidity from 61% to 53%. On the second day, after opening the windows in the morning while the dehumidifier was off, it took over 6 hours for the humidity to go down from 63% to 57% when I turned it on. I have set it to 50%, but I don't know if it will ever reach that level. Overall, I expected something better based on the positive reviews.
I am coming back after 1 month of use, and it seems that the machine needed time. With the setting at 50%, it has gone several times even lower, down to 46% under normal conditions. These days, when it rains, it goes up to 64% and now it is at 61%.
In conclusion, I find it unlikely for it to reach 50% when it rains. It seems stuck around 60-something and after many hours it goes down to 58-59%.
The best thing ever!!!!! Just run and get it. In 2 days it almost dried out a flooded basement!!!!!! It converts humidity into warm air!!!!!!
Three years of trouble-free operation from October to March, it paid off in the first year in heating expenses, in the end the dehumidifiers came to stay.
Located in a seaside house with a terrace and wooden windows measuring 80 square meters. In general, the dehumidifier is quite quiet. The noise on the small and medium settings is almost the same. At 22 degrees and 75% humidity, it extracted one liter of water in one hour. The difference in the atmosphere is evident. The smell that some people mention does not exist or did not bother us. Compared to a branded compressor dehumidifier that I had borrowed, it extracted 150ml of water in the same space in one hour. Pay attention and inform yourself before purchasing, as there are other options available, such as a 10-liter/day zeolite dehumidifier or a 20-liter/day compressor dehumidifier. The performance specifications refer to different conditions. The first refers to 20°C/50%, while the second refers to 30°C/80% with a sharp drop in performance as the temperature decreases, meaning that at 22°C, the 20-liter dehumidifier is essentially 7 liters, according to my research on the internet. It is a pretty good choice if it withstands the test of time...

For now, it works perfectly, doing its job quickly and economically (I haven't noticed any difference in my electricity bills).
Very good and high-quality construction with matte plastic and nice texture, achieves quick results and its consumption is negligible. I have it constantly in operation and I haven't seen any difference in my electricity bill. So the secret is the inverter function as stated in the manual, meaning you plug it in and all you have to do is empty the water tank and clean the air filter. The screen is beautiful in blue color with all the functions in a relatively easy menu. I read some complaints from certain people about the tank and I measured it, it is 4.2 liters up to the lid and at 3.7 liters, the float activates indicating that it is full and stops. One very positive aspect is that it is a Greek company with a five-year warranty!
I had a MEACO which went to service 3 times:
1st time because a delicate "neck" that the drainage tube attaches to broke
2nd time because it needed a zeolite replacement (even though they had told me it never needs replacement)
& 3rd time this year for zeolite replacement again!!!!!
So, I decided to buy the Puredry which has a similar price, more filters (that protect the zeolite from wear), a display & a 5-year warranty (compared to the 2 years that MEACO offered).
From my experience with the previous machine, I received a beautifully made machine, quiet, without any odor (it's a new thing, it has the smell of first use) with an informative display and a separate (from the moisture collection container) drainage outlet (something that had a construction problem in the previous machine). It works effortlessly, and I hope it continues to impress me with its performance for a long time, just like when I received it....
It is my second dehumidifier in an 80 square meter vacation home without heating in a coastal area. The house above does not have insulation, the windows are wooden and leak a little, so when it rains, moisture enters. I bought it after a lot of searching. The fact that it is Greek-made was a plus for me, because I will be able to find spare parts. So, the house on a permanent basis had 75-80% humidity and 10-15 degrees in winter. I visited the house on the weekend of 12-13/12/2020... what can I say, the feeling of the space is different. Guys, if you really want it for a vacation home, buy it, it does everything it promises.
So let's start with the technical specifications. It is a quality product made in China and has no connection with Greece. It just comes here baptized with its name. The construction materials are very good, a product that lives up to the money you spend. In terms of instructions, you might get a little confused. It is not suitable for small children. Now, as for its performance, the company claims that it is suitable for up to 130 square meters of space. My house is 80 square meters, newly built with thermal insulation and energy-efficient windows, in a place with a lot of humidity. So, starting from the day of purchase, after two days of running for 18 hours a day at full power, the humidity dropped to 55-60% in the center of the house, pulling from all the rooms. It hasn't been able to go lower than that. On the third night, I tried running it on low mode while the house had 57% humidity, hoping that it would decrease, but in the morning it was at 60%! There was a slight smell during the first hour of the first day of operation. If you ask me if I am satisfied with its performance, I would say no, based on what the company claims about its coverage area. On the other hand, I don't have experience with other products to compare. The reason why I say no is because it runs continuously day and night for so many days... we don't know what the electricity bill will be in the end! It runs on automatic mode and stops when the humidity reaches 50%, but it has never been able to reach that level so far. On the other hand, I haven't used any heating in the house, which is a plus because it blows out warm air... but the quality of the building also plays a role! So, a big relief for the product is that it works in a house without heating. Not to mention that if you place it in a room, within a quarter, it will remove the humidity and close the room... raising the temperature by 3 degrees. But its purpose, according to the company, is for houses over 100 square meters, not just a room. In conclusion, the best question you can ask a consumer is... Would you buy it again? Yes or no? And from there, you can understand everything. So, my answer is NO because I would look for something more powerful, as I think it exaggerates in the information provided by the company regarding the coverage area. The machine itself is very good. As of January 22, 2021, we have been using it for a long time... decision... it is a very good machine for a maximum of 50 square meters in the right house. So, for my well-built 80 square meter house, I would need two... because the machine needs to run a little and cut off when it reaches 50% humidity after such a long period of use.

One of the best purchases I have made. I found it on sale for €180 and it has paid for itself in heating savings over the past year. On the high setting, it quickly reduces humidity and with the smart function, it only turns on again when humidity levels rise. It helps to have good insulation in the house (I noticed a difference when I closed the gap under the front door, for example) and to program the ventilation of the house according to its function (it doesn't make sense to use it if you plan to ventilate later). It raises the temperature in the bedroom by 3 degrees with just a few minutes of use!
It was purchased in November '19 and worked continuously until I think April. In 2-3 days, the humidity dropped in a 70sqm apartment, where the walls were running with water due to the humidity! I purchased this specific model in December 2018 for my parents, after conducting thorough research. The choice proved to be 100% justified. The house where it is used is around 120 square meters, with high ceilings. From the first day it started working, we had to empty the water tank three times. My parents pointed out the difference they noticed in terms of warmth and sleep quality. One of the highest quality purchases I have made. At first, it works until it collects everything in the space and then when it reaches the humidity limit that you have set, it stops and starts again when the humidity in the space rises. It has a setting for direction and adjustment in the airflow for anyone who doesn't want it to be heard at all. Its motor is Japanese and it also has a 5-year warranty, what else could you ask for.. I would buy it again without hesitation. I also bought a second one as a gift for my sister.
