It doesn’t have many requirements and it is very beautiful. A nutrient-rich substrate helps in its growth, but it needs trimming to prevent it from overshadowing other plants and stealing their light. It does well even in aquariums with low lighting. It is a hardy and easy plant for beginners as well as for more experienced aquarists with large aquariums.
