  • They don't wear out at all but their eraser is very hard. In wet conditions the grip is non-existent. Having ridden 13,000 km with them on an F650GS. A tire with treads that lasts for kilometers means reduced grip mathematically. Read reviews before choosing them. They are not expensive because they are good tires, they are expensive because they are not available.

    Verified purchase

I recently installed them on my 1200gs. So far, they have covered more kilometers off-road than on asphalt.

Asphalt: in the very few kilometers I rode on tight, twisty roads with low pressures at 30psi front and 33psi rear, and moderate quality asphalt, they performed exceptionally well at relaxed touring speeds.

At high speeds above 170, they gave me some relative insecurity and slight handlebar vibrations, but nothing tragic. It's a 50/50 tire, not purely for asphalt. However, at 150-160, they perform great and relatively quietly compared to more aggressive tires.

They have a hard compound, and on polished asphalt, I have experienced some traction issues, even in areas where my previous Michelin Anakee Adventure tires had no problems.

I don't have an opinion on wet surfaces yet.

Off-road: I have ridden several kilometers in all conditions except sand.

In muddy conditions, when the water has completely soaked the ground and turned it into mud, you will get stuck. You can get unstuck with a little effort, but you will have to walk the bike through.

In muddy conditions where the water is still present, you can pass relatively comfortably, but with caution because even though it's a 50/50 tire (60% off-road/40% asphalt, I would say), it doesn't have the knobs that tires like the TKC80 have, for example, and it might scare you if you're not relaxed on the handlebars, as you should always be.

Small puddles, streams, mud puddles (that clean the tires and don't clog them), you can pass through and even have some fun.

On loose rocks, gravel, pebbles, and gravel roads, you will breeze through because the excellent tread pattern and large knobs help! It also performs well on uphill and downhill sections of this kind. It exceeded my expectations, at least.

I found myself riding on a packed dirt road at speeds of 100km+.

    • I might buy them again

Model 2020, arrived in Greece in 2021.
    Made in USA.
It is a 50:50 category, but it performs exceptionally well on asphalt at both low and high speeds.
No vibrations for a sporty tire.
    Suction cup rubber.
Unfortunately, I haven't had the chance to see it off-road yet.
It is the most expensive, but in my opinion, it is the most complete tire for ANY and EVERY use, whether it's 100% asphalt or 100% dirt.
I have been using it on my Kawasaki Versys 300X for a short time now

    • Do they wear out easily?
    • Do they reach the appropriate temperature quickly?
