  It does exactly what it promises. It doesn't make any noise at all, the sound is pure as it should be. This package contains exactly what you need to connect your TV to the stereo. Only one RCA cable is missing, but usually if you have a stereo, you will have an RCA cable somewhere. Just be careful not to make a mistake when connecting the plugs! The cable has small rubber caps on its ends to protect the optical fiber from dust, which you should remove before inserting the cable. So be careful, don't connect the plugs as they are, because you will cause damage!
