After 2 months and after 4-5 haircuts, it broke. I tried to change the height of the blades from 2mm to 0.8mm by turning the corresponding knob it has, and I noticed that it made no change. I removed the head to clean it from hair, and during its removal, all the components that moved the blades came out. I tried to place them back in their position, but now it doesn't work like before, and many times it gets stuck and the blades don't move at all. I still don't understand why it costs so much...
I got the same one on offer from Lidl at the same price and they have nothing to do with each other.
This one has a 2500mAh battery which means long duration and very good construction
easy to clean.
attention after each use it needs cleaning and lubrication of the blades to have it for years.
I have bought it again and I bought it again. I have had it for a year and it hasn't had any issues, for haircut and shaving. It is one of the most affordable ones that does such a good job!!! I just wished it had attachments for longer length than it has.
First experience with this specific hair trimmer - shaver. Personally, I need it for use on the face and body.
Well, as for the construction, it is very good, sturdy with a good grip. As for the positives, I will also mention the power of the motor and the relatively low noise.
Let's move on to the negatives... Firstly, since I personally compare it to a Philips trimmer of similar cost, the minimum trimming it offers is slightly higher than what I expected. When I use it on the neck or above the cheeks, I would like it to catch more hair.
However, the biggest negative, I would say, is the central RPM adjustment wheel (in simple terms, the speed at which the blades work), which, due to the way I hold the machine, constantly touches my hand and rotates unintentionally, changing the speed as well!
I don't know how you hold the machine and it hasn't been mentioned, or how I hold it and have this problem, but personally, it doesn't suit me at all.
I bought the Wall for 120 euros and it is much superior! Easy and convenient to hold, I can trim both my body and my beard! The battery lasts for over 1 and a half hours of full use!
It should not be called VGR but VFM because it is really value for money. Personally, I use it for trimming but it also works well for shaving, it can even cut through fields. Very good blades with many head adjustments and 6 combs. It even has a wheel that adjusts the motor's RPM. With a full battery, it can definitely handle 4-5 haircuts. And if you forget to charge it, you can use it with the cord plugged in. Beautiful construction, however, because it is glossy, it is easy to slip from the hand, I haven't experienced it myself so I don't know how durable it is against falls. Additionally, I find the combs a bit sharp. Overall, a very powerful investment.
I got the machine for shaving on the face and body. Generally, I have very hard and dense hair on my face that even professional machines would get stuck. I had no problem with this one and I shave just fine. It gives a nice and close shave on the body, nothing like another one I had, this one is much better. For 25 euros, the build quality is very good and the positives for me are the battery life during use and the indication of the battery percentage that is still inside. Very nice charging base. Definitely, for amateur use, at this price, it is one of the best choices.
An amazing machine with a very powerful motor, adjusting the main button for low or high blade speed! Very strong blades and a very nice charging base! Now, on the downside, it's a bit uncomfortable in the hand and a little heavier, but over time you get used to it and find the grip. For its price, it is satisfactory, I just wish it had more comb attachments, it only has up to (12). I use it for professional use and I am quite satisfied! I hope I helped you, thank you...
