    It does a fantastic job and sharpens better than other cheaper "double" 1000/6000, so don't be fooled; buy two quality stones, 1000 & 4000, to get the job done right. I made the mistake with the "double" stone and now I work like this: I first go from 1000 to 6000 and finish with the quality 4000, achieving the best result.
