The Rida fabric dye in a sachet is suitable for the washing machine or hand use. It dyes 500 grams of cotton, linen, and viscose (dry fabric) or 200 grams of cotton-wool blend, wool, nylon, lycra, and animal silk (dry fabric), which can withstand up to 90 degrees.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
The result is perfect! The form looks like new!! Be careful with the first wash, it releases color, so make sure all the clothes are black!
I have been using this type of dye for clothes that fade for many years, so this is the first time I tried this particular one mainly because of the price. I tried to dye only 2 pairs of pants and of course, following the instructions, and the result was very, very bad. I will not buy them again. This is purely my personal opinion.
I tried it on a helmet liner. Maybe I didn't apply it correctly because it went from white to gray and it opens with every wash
I don't know about the washing machine, but it did nothing by hand. I will try it in the washing machine and I will get back to you. For now, I'm giving it 2 stars
I dye jeans and pants at home to refresh them for years.
I usually use Rimo, with which I am not so satisfied because the color fades away after the third wash.
I decided to try Rida because it is cheaper (the quantity is smaller in grams) to see how long the dye will last on the fabric fibers and how many washes it will fade again.
I did not see any difference in durability.
However, I did notice a difference in color intensity the first time, Rimo's dark colors come out more intense.
So, if it comes down to a cost difference of a euro and something, next time I will prefer Rima.
It paints fine, but it constantly fades in every wash and the clothes return to where they were ................. of course, do not dare to put the dyed clothes with others, they will all dye ..........
4 pairs of pants and four t-shirts were put in the washing machine together with 4 dye packets. (The store told me to use one packet per pair of pants). The instructions were followed faithfully, with the appropriate addition of salt, the clothes were wet with lukewarm water, and they were washed at 90 degrees for one hour. The result thrilled me, as the clothes came out with a vibrant black color, even though they were faded. BUT... I have washed the dyed clothes 5 times and they still release black stains. So much so that wearing them leaves black marks on the skin. I don't know how many more times they need to be washed, but the fact that they still release so much black after disappointed me
I have used the dye many times to dye black pants that had faded over time.
It does a very good job, but you must follow the instructions closely, meaning you need to soak the clothes in warm water and then put them in the washing machine as they are, wet in the drum.
You do a full wash cycle at 95 degrees and the clothes come out black like new.
When you take them out of the washing machine, you must let them dry in the shade, on a clothes rack and not in the sun. You leave them hanging for a day, always in the shade, and the clothes become completely black like new.
The disadvantage it has is that the color starts to fade after several washes, but this is expected. The dye works perfectly, but you must follow the instructions to the letter.
Also, after use, to remove the dye residues from the washing machine, you do a wash with minimal detergent and a small cup of chlorine, without clothes. This cleans any dye residues that have remained in the washing machine.
I used it to change color (darker of course) and it worked perfectly except for the seams, which is logical. I also refreshed the color on shorts with very good results. The process in the washing machine seemed very easy to me.
I put the clothes in the washing machine with the dye and they didn't dye well, and besides that, they completely faded from black after about three or four washes. Maybe I did something wrong, but I wouldn't buy it again. The clothes were dark purple, green, etc.
Perfect dye. Applied to a faded black sweatpants that had turned red and was fully covered. Previously, when I tried it on chlorine-stained pants, it was not fully covered.
Perfect.
I used it for a cotton garment that had chlorine on it.
After following the instructions faithfully, it now appears very clean, something that the eye does not notice unless you look at it very closely.
It will probably fade in the future, but it is understandable. I highly recommend it so that you can give your clothes a little extension in their lifespan, even if chlorine has been spilled on them.
He painted the sink after the bathtub, but he didn't paint the synthetic clothes. Don't even bother with synthetics, I don't know about wool or cotton
It is very good, I painted a pair of pants and it came out perfect. Just be careful after use! It leaves residues in the washing machine. I had to run 2-3 complete cycles until it was completely clean. It also stained the rubber seal of the door a little (this, of course, is something that happens with all dyes)
I dyed the clothes in the washing machine, when they dried they looked very nice. After 2-3 washes, they started to fade again. I expected them to last at least 15 washes
I give it 4 stars because it doesn't always work. It's good for refreshing black colors, but not so much for dyeing clothes black. I would buy it again knowing where to use it.
Chlorine had spilled on the clothes, I didn't expect miracles, just that it could still be wearable.
The discolorations are less noticeable up close.
The after picture makes it look completely black, it doesn't do it justice.
The product is not to blame, it's ALL THE SAME, but just like it faded the first time, it will fade the next time as well. For gentle fading, it will work for stains like chlorine, but after a few washes, the mark will become visible.
Very good. I used it in the washing machine and dyed two dresses from light gray to black. Very good result. Just make sure to do a wash without clothes afterwards to remove any dye residue
This specific paint is simply amazing. I have been using it for years, and the new packaging is more practical.
Excellent product... It had clear instructions and the result came out very good... I used it on a pair of pants that had faded in color
It's awesome. Work pants that get a lot of wear and tear and I used to have to throw them away just because they had faded, now I dye them and they become like new.
Fantastic product and at a very good price. It makes them look like new and the color lasts for a long time. I dye them in the washing machine and simply after each dyeing I wash black clothes or do an empty wash in the machine with a little detergent to make sure no color remains in the drum. The result is equally perfect in the pot, but it doesn't suit me because I have to dye the clothes one by one.
