Due to the quarantine, I decided to buy a bicycle, for simple transportation in my area and for exercise... So, to be honest, I was afraid to ride in general at night, until the light came! No one can ignore you, not even have any doubt about where you want to go! The remote responds immediately! Just guys, the light has a small button on top to turn it on, and there is no mention of this button anywhere in the instructions!

As a rear light, it is very good and intense even during the day. I ride my bike for an hour every day in the morning from 7:30 to 8:30, and because I ride in an urban area, I wanted front and rear lights. It is very good, but I deduct 3 stars because:
1. Its battery lasts only a short time, only 2.5 hours, and it does not have an indication of how much charge it has, resulting in it suddenly turning off without warning, leaving you without light and needing to charge it for 5 hours for a full charge. If you make a small modification to the battery cover, you can easily have another one with you and change it (its battery is 2000mA and I bought 2 of 3500mA). The 3500mA battery lasts about 8 hours.
2. The remote control is small, resulting in many times accidentally pressing the adjacent buttons and showing different functions. You have to be very careful with pressing the buttons. Also, it does not fit well and moves when pressed, but this can be solved with double-sided tape.
3. On the remote control, there is initially an indication of what you have selected, but after 15 seconds, the indication disappears and you do not know if something is activated or not. Many times, the laser is accidentally pressed, stays on the whole time, and consumes the battery since it is not visible during the day to turn it off. There is no solution for this, you just have to check it from time to time.
4. All the parts are made of plastic and fragile, which means that at some point, they will break. I do not know how long they will last, but I believe it will be easy to readjust and screw them back onto the bike with a small fix.
In general, I am both satisfied (because I can improve most things on my own) and disappointed (mostly with the remote control, where I cannot do anything, and with the battery that lasts a short time even though I bought extra ones).

Did you find this review helpful?Yesterday I bought it and tried it out to see how it works and generally how far it shines. The first impressions are positive in the test that was done to see how bright the light is and how it functions. It shines over 40 meters (I sent a friend to test it, holding it as I had turned it on and seeing if it really shines far). The result is incredible and I am thrilled.
Let's talk about the functions of the remote control:
1) Middle button: 1st press activates the flashlight continuously, 2nd press makes it flash intensely with the strobe lights, 3rd press makes only the straight beam flash, and 4th press keeps it steady.
2) Right/left turn signals: 1st press activates the straight beam with the turn signal flashing either right or left, 2nd press turns it off.
3) Top button: 1st press activates the laser, 2nd press makes the laser play, 3rd press turns it off.
4) When charging, the central flashlight blinks.
5) If you don't want to open/close it with the remote control, there is a button on the right side of the flashlight.
6) Charging can also be done with a power bank if you don't want to remove the flashlight (I tested it). Just make sure to lock your bike in a storage room or on your balcony, etc. (so you don't regret it later), and also have a power outlet nearby to directly plug in the cable (the package includes a 1.20 cable) to a charger/multi-plug with USB. There are solutions!And finally, the quality is very good and the flashlight fits perfectly under the saddle or on the frame with the screws included in the package, the clamps, and its connections. I installed it on the frame without looking at the instructions. And I must say that the flashlight slides in smoothly by pushing the slight protrusion (let's call it that) of the base backwards.
Note: Video with an indoor test to get an idea...
Note 2: The battery runs out much faster with the laser beams. It's best to only turn them on with minimal or no illumination (especially in narrow streets in the neighborhoods or when you are outside the city).
Note 3: Photo of the end of the charging with the illumination that could also serve as the main lighting since it flashes every 3 seconds and I liked it a lot, just as I would have liked it to be steady.
Note 4: The only, let's say, negative thing because I forgot to mention it is that the turn signals don't work unless the flashlight is turned off, and I would have liked them to be slightly larger in size.

It is rechargeable and lasts about 5 hours or more, depending on the mode. However, when it flashes intermittently, it can be blinding. The best placement is under the saddle, although it also has a mount for the seat post. With the remote control, you can change the lighting mode, turn on the flash, and activate the impressive laser, which projects two lines on the right and left of you. I charge it while it is on the bike using a power bank, but you can also take the saddle home and charge it with a regular phone charger (not type C).
Lastly, a detail: it has a light sensor and turns on automatically at night. However, if car lights shine on it from behind, it gets confused and turns off, thinking it's daylight. You can easily solve this by covering the sensor with a small piece of black insulating tape.
For 22 euros, it's worth it, because if you get hit, it will cost you much more...!!!?

Also, the base is made of plastic, so it can relatively easily break (I didn't try it on a bicycle, but when I attached it to the rear wheel of an electric scooter, it broke on the first day due to vibrations).

The flash and warning alarm function is extremely useful for alerting other drivers, and the laser, although I don't use it much, is very cool. I also noticed that someone mentioned in the comments that the bright light doesn't turn on when braking and that it didn't come with the proper screws. Personally, I find that even with the correct mounting bases, screws, and brackets, it shows a brighter light. Another positive aspect is that it can be recharged with a USB port. Pros:
- Strong illumination
- Battery that lasts for hours (it is of type 18650, like the ones used in electronic cigarettes, so even if it breaks, it is very easy to find a similar one in the market and replace it by unscrewing 2 screws).
- Easy installation. You only need a screwdriver and it can be screwed either on the seat tube or just below the seat. The 2 mounts are included in the package.
- It attaches securely to the base without the fear of falling and can be easily removed to charge it with the included mini USB cable (charger not included).
- Detailed instructions for use and installationCons:
- At the bottom, there is a sensor (a small transparent piece of plastic) that when it detects light, it turns off the LEDs to save battery if you are riding in the morning, for example. The issue is that if a car light falls on it at night, the sensor can detect it and turn off the LEDs. To solve this, you can simply cover the sensor with a small piece of tape and in the end, you won't even turn it on in the morning.
- The controller attaches to the handlebar with a rubber band and therefore it doesn't "lock" in place, resulting in it falling off after some bumps and requiring a little lift. This problem can be solved with the help of double-sided tape or something that will secure it.
- The Chinese manufacturer has only put half of the screws, at least in the one I received. It's not that anything will happen or that the plastic will open, I just mention it because when I turned it upside down, I saw 4 screw holes and there was only a screw in 2 of them. I bought 2 small screws and put them in.It may have some "issues" but at least they can be solved in half a minute, easily and inexpensively. To be fair, though, I deduct one star, but that doesn't mean it's not worth it. Happy shopping!
