  It doesn't keep the rain out very well, but it does at least cut it off. It is very good for dust and sun. I have had it for 2 years and it hasn't had any issues, but I don't use it daily.
  The only downside is that when it's windy, the back part sometimes comes off (I have a Yamaha XT 125 without a top case). I came up with a solution where I tie the back part on top of the license plate and it's fine.
