From me: Good construction. I don't know how long they will last, it will show in time. However, when he plays and I call him - I have to raise my voice quite a bit for him to hear me, so the soundproofing is perfect.
Within 1.5 years (approximately 500 days), the headphones were only used for 30 of those days, for 2 hours each time. The arm on the left side broke and I fixed it with silicone and insulation tape. Also, the padding on the headphones has worn out and my office and floor are filled with black particles. It is incredibly disappointing how such a well-known and expensive product can have such poor construction materials. As for the sound, it is very good, both the quality of the headphones and the microphone. Also, until they broke, they were very comfortable and relaxing to wear. Throughout these days, it malfunctioned twice and I had to unplug and plug in the USB again to fix it. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT AGAIN to anyone else. I ordered a cheaper, less well-known brand and I am expecting to receive it

I am absolutely satisfied with the product both in terms of sound and in terms of construction. The only flaw it has is that the cushions "wear out" quickly. They are functional but wrinkle at the edges. It doesn't bother you during use, it just doesn't look as nice
I have changed these headphones 3 times and we are going for the 4th. With the use I make of them, which is very careful, etc., the headphones every time I have bought them, I feel like they have an "expiration date" after 4-5 months at most. They always break in the exact same spot (left upper arm). My opinion is that if you don't mind running for warranties at the store where you bought them to replace them every 5 months, go for it, otherwise, under no circumstances...
Everything works great. Sound, noise isolation, bass, everything is OK. I highly recommend it for the price it is being sold.
Good sound with bass and good microphone as well, but after about 3-6 months the plastic above the head starts to break and the membrane starts to come out. I do not recommend them for long-lasting headphones!
Stay away from these if you want good sound. I had the Kraken 7.1 since 2015 and the only issue I had was that the ear cushions wore out, which I replaced. Unfortunately, an accident occurred and I needed to replace them. I considered these because they were the closest thing I had at an affordable price (the previous ones were of the same caliber as the equivalent ultimate ones and cost +60 euros more than these). When I opened them, I realized why they were so cheap.
The plastic construction quality is not sturdy at all.
The sound is terrible, you feel like something is missing, as if it lacks life, I don't know how to explain it.
I downloaded a stupid 7.1 sound software. Useless. If you have experienced the 7.1 from the predecessor, you understand that these stupid things do nothing. The surround sound is non-existent, and I say this from experience at a competitive level in shooting games when I was a student.
Settings like equalizer and surround control do not exist, not even as a joke (Razer removed them so that only the expensive models in their series have them).
In conclusion, they are not worth the 60-70-80 euros you will spend, including shipping, especially if you are interested in gaming at a decent level.
They sound to me like bad t..r..a. S from the well-known store.
P.S. I will give them to my girlfriend to watch a series, but I don't know if they will even be suitable for that. ^^
Let's start with some basic things..
• The microphone is really good, personally I have been very satisfied and several people I know who use this headset have only positive things to say, especially about the mic. The microphone is a Razer Hyper Clear cardioid microphone with a mute button and volume knob, generally no issues with sound clarity whether in games, chats, or music.
• As a user of the Nari Ultimate, I didn't mind having the Kraken X v3 as my secondary headphones in my setup.. they are very durable and lightweight, you don't even realize you're wearing headphones after hours of gaming, literally you don't feel like you're wearing them.
• Good overall construction, good plastic quality, easy to adjust and fit on the head. And a very long USB connection cable.
• The earcups are Hybrid-Fabric memory foam ear cups, which makes them very soft and prevents sweating after many hours of use. The classic 7.1 spatial sound is worth it all.. these are quality headphones that you will be satisfied with! Let's not forget some basic things, these headphones are specifically designed for gaming!
