The Air Jordan 1 is undoubtedly the most important shoe in the history of footwear. It was not only the first shoe for Michael Jordan from Nike, but it was also the beginning of ingenuity for Nike itself. The Air Jordan 1 was designed as a basketball shoe for the then-rookie Michael Jordan and went on to kickstart the crazy and massive retro trend we live in today, where new colors and collaborations seem to be released every week.
The Air Jordan 1 was designed by Peter Moore who came up with the idea to "break the color barrier in footwear." You see, in the early 1980s, bright colors existed on canvas shoes or running shoes. When it came to basketball shoes, the color was almost always white.
While most components of the shoe were pulled from other Nike designs such as the Air Force 1, Nike Dunk, Air Ship, and Nike Vandal, the one thing that was entirely exclusive to the Air Jordan 1 series was the logo that Moore sketched for Michael. The "Wings" logo as we know it today features a basketball with wings, the perfect metaphor for Michael "Air" Jordan and his new signature shoes. The Air Jordan 1 was the only Air Jordan model to include both the Nike Swoosh and the Jordan Wings logo. The now-famous Jumpman logo would first appear in 1988 with the Air Jordan 3 model.
First released in 1985 in the Bred colorway (black+red=bred), they were quickly dubbed "Banned." You see, every time Jordan stepped onto the court wearing the black, red, and white shoes, he was fined $5,000 for violating the NBA's uniform policy, a fine that Nike was happy to pay each time to increase the buzz around the Air Jordan 1.
"On October 15, Nike created a revolutionary basketball shoe," says the narrator. "On October 18, the NBA banned it. Fortunately, the NBA can't stop you from wearing them. Air Jordans. By Nike."
That was it. The shoes became a hit despite the high, for the time, price of $65. Since then, the history of Nike itself changed, Jordan was named NBA Rookie of the Year and continued to have the huge career we all know, the Jordans eventually became collectible (some editions were released on Saturdays so most people wouldn't be working and kids wouldn't miss school) and the status of the shoes changed both on and off the court. The rest is history...

From appearance very beautiful just like in the photos!! From comfort and walking very mediocre the sole is very hard..
The leather is a bit stiff, especially at the front of the foot. I would expect the sole to be more comfortable and softer. However, with a good athletic insole, everything is fine! Very beautiful shoes.
Amazing shoe and it doesn't do justice in the photo. You can't get enough of wearing it, you can't get enough of looking at it!!! Also very comfortable and the quality is clearly visible. This refers to the gray color.
Very beautiful shoe, I wear it with everything. I believe that whoever is looking for these specific ones already knows a lot about them, so I won't go into details.
Jordan 1 Crimson tint low
Excellent sneaker regardless of color, the Jordan 1 low is a good choice for someone who wants a different sneaker from the Air Force 1 at a similar price.
Air Jordan 1, no further analysis is needed, the shoe that created the sneaker category.
