Hand-wound, staggered Alnico 5 micro-magnets and the middle coil with special Heavy Formavar wire produce a bright and crisp tone with vintage output. This set of three pickups includes a standard neck pickup, and RWRP (reverse wound, reverse polarity) middle pickup to eliminate hum in between pickup combinations. The bridge pickup is standard wound to maintain set balance and full symmetry. The pots, selector switch, and covers are all high-quality, and vintage style cloth wire has been used for all connections.
