It works perfectly in the city, I haven't tried it outside yet. As for the battery, like everything else, it will need almost daily charging after a while.

  • Pbox Broad, purchased for 55€, with an annual subscription at 48€ per year, no sim card needed, the application is average, it has a fence operation notification. The disappointing part is the battery, which now needs to be charged every night. When contacting the company, they informed me that the device cannot be opened for replacement... We will see if it will be replaced. Anyway, I won't be getting a new one again...

  • I got it supposed to be better and in the end the purchase was in vain.
It sent a notification that the dog may be in danger, etc., while I was with the dog.
I received a notification at 5 in the morning that the dog had left its place while it was there..
With this, I definitely don't have my mind at ease, it disturbs me more. Of course, okay, I spoke to the central, etc., but still the same. Disappointment.

I bought it because I wanted to support a Greek company, the alternative was the Tractive GPS Tracker 4. Initially, there was a communication problem between the device and the mobile application, but after a brief phone call to the company's headquarters, the technician did something from there and the problem was fixed within the day. So, it's 5 stars for customer support. However, the 3 stars of the final rating are for other reasons:
    - Firstly, the device is not waterproof but rather splashproof, so in another communication with the company, they told me that it is not covered by the warranty in case it gets into water (especially if it is saltwater). So if your dog takes dives, you will probably need to choose something else.
    - The mobile application is not the best, nor the easiest to use. But it works, especially in real tracking, which is the most important.
    - The application also, besides the distance the dog has covered, does not have any other statistics (e.g. sleep, activity, etc.).
    - The battery lasts a short time: in my case, I have to recharge it every 2-3 days.
To be honest, I wanted to return it, but in the end, I kept it for my bigger dog. For the smaller ones, I bought the Tractive GPS 4, which does all the above and costs less: 50 euros instead of the 70 I paid for the mCubed (now, however, it is on offer for 55 euros each or 100 for two).
Of course, the annual subscription is more expensive: for Tractive it is 72 euros (for Basic, 84 euros for Premium) compared to the 48 euros of mCubed.
But I wanted the statistics too: the smaller ones have their collars on all day and I see data about their sleep and activity, comparisons with other dogs of similar breed or size, etc.! And the other very important feature of Tractive compared to mCubed is that it connects to the home's Wi-Fi and does not consume the battery for GPS and mobile network, so one charge can last a week!
    That's it. I hope I didn't bore you!

Excellent product if you want to have peace of mind about the whereabouts of your dog. User-friendly application, high accuracy, without the hassle of dealing with SIM cards, etc. A future upgrade with a higher capacity battery for longer autonomy would make it perfect. I would highly recommend it for companion animals, but hunters with high demands for tracking, real-time mapping, training, etc. might not be fully satisfied.

At first, the application had an issue with sending my message about my problem (battery depleting too quickly) to the customer service department, so I waited for a long time for communication from the company.

So, I found the phone number for the headquarters and spoke to a woman who took care of everything and arranged for the replacement of the product.

Today, I also spoke to a second person, who came to supplement the communication regarding customer support and reassure me about the steps they have taken to improve.

    TL:DR
Not everything is perfect from the beginning and I don't expect it to be, but what mattered is the willingness to receive feedback, the willingness to improve, and the practical support in the end.
