I am sharing my experience, so that interested parties know what happens in case of a Xiaomi product malfunction that is not available from Infoquest.
(after 7 months, this happened...)
The battery life dropped significantly, resulting in only 5 minutes of usage on the second level, compared to the initial 25 minutes. I considered buying a new battery, but luckily I didn't. I sent an email to Skroutz (it was purchased through Skroutz and not directly from the store) and they informed me that since the 6-month period had passed, they wouldn't replace it immediately, but I had to contact the authorized service center, which I did (even though I knew that my vacuum cleaner wasn't imported through Infoquest, as it didn't have the corresponding sticker). Infoquest informed me that: "...products from the above-mentioned manufacturer, which have not been distributed in the Greek market by Info Quest Technologies M.A.E.B.E., cannot receive technical support from our company, and you should contact the point of sale for this matter." I forwarded this information to Skroutz, who then took care of it. Within 1 day, they contacted the selling store to inquire about the process that would be followed, and they sent a courier to pick it up for free from my house and deliver it to the store. The vacuum cleaner was then sent to the service center (I don't know where it is located, but the process can take a maximum of 15 days, as in my case). There, it underwent inspection (a process that can take up to 30 days). In my case, it took a little over three weeks, and I was subsequently informed that the product was defective and deemed unrepairable. Therefore, the full value of the vacuum cleaner, including shipping costs, was refunded to my account within a reasonable timeframe.
I am NOT deducting a star from the product. It is expected to have some defects, which is why after-sales service is important, and it worked perfectly in my case. It took a bit longer than I would have liked, perhaps, but it did not exceed the time limits that I was informed of by Skroutz themselves via email after my inquiry.
Would I buy through Skroutz again? YES, and I did, this time purchasing the new G10 model. I just hope to be luckier this time :p
(after 1 month of use)
One of our best purchases!
So easy to use that we now clean the entire house daily!
Powerful suction capability (replaced the old classic electric vacuum cleaner perfectly)
On the second level, it is sufficient for 80-90% of cases, and the battery is more than enough for cleaning a 100m2 area (with carpets, without pets). However, if it is on the third level, the battery will run out before we finish cleaning the whole house. Its weight does not discourage even my wife.
Full charge in ~3 hours.
DIY tip: I attached a self-adhesive USB LED strip in front (located 1cm above the floor) with a small power bank attached to the sole with scratch, and with the lights off, I can see even the tiniest speck of dust, so I can clearly see that it leaves nothing behind
