  Shaving is 100% our personal time dedicated to our individual care. For those who shave with blades and safety razors, each of us must take the time required to achieve the desired result. This means that everyone must choose the products that suit them individually. For those who find this preparation tedious, or for whom daily shaving is required for work, there are other products that are easier to use. Personally, I have been very satisfied with this choice on all levels. The longevity of the blades and their performance, combined with some simple soaps or creams and not overly elaborate brushes, suits me just fine.

  I do not understand most of the negative comments I see here. It probably has to do with the fact that they are using a Gillette razor. I use them with a Muhle razor and the shaving they offer is very comfortable without irritation. I bought them once to try, despite the high price, but I was very satisfied.

  Gentlemen, the blades do not perform well with the accompanying machine, the King C Gillette. However, when I used them with an Edwin Jagger machine with a closed comb, they provide incredibly close shaves with zero irritation and easily last for 4 shaves. Nevertheless, they are a bit expensive and I probably won't buy them again. A good alternative is the ASTRA green blades and the ASTOR blades

  1 star with difficulty.

  Included are 5 blades in the Gillette safety razor (King C). It is a very good move for the company to add the blades to the safety razor packaging, but they are simply unacceptable.

  I used them for 3-4 shaves. It took at least 3 passes, and it caused me full irritation. It didn't shave precisely, but it pulled the hairs.

  Definitely not recommended. The price is very high, most blades cost around 0.10-0.14€ per blade.

  Unfortunately, pure disappointment from Gillette.
  It is purely my personal experience and it has to do with my skin and hair, so it doesn't necessarily mean that they are bad for everyone.

  I bought them together with the Gillette razor because I didn't notice that the box said the razor has blades inside, otherwise I wouldn't have bought them.
  They are not sharp at all for my beard and I don't have tough facial hair, I would say I have moderately tough facial hair.
  I mainly shave with Bic Astor and Wilkinsons Sword Classic and they give me a good shave, but these Gillette ones were pulling my skin.
  They require multiple passes to clean the beard and in the end, they left irritations and redness, which luckily the alum block helped with.

  UPDATE ----- (3 Stars)
  In every review, we must be fair. Especially for stores, as they concern people with their positives and negatives.
  Similarly, for useful items, tools, etc., we must give them a chance, as we might also make a mistake in their use.
  So, with this blade, I owed it an additional chance and from the same initial setup, I tried a new blade, changing everything except the razor. Specifically:
  Razor: Gillette King C - (same)
  Pre-Shave: Papoutsanis Glycerin Soap - (from Proraso green)
  Soap: Razorock XXX (Tallow) - (from Proraso red)
  Brush: DUX boar - (from Omega 80067)
  Alum Block: Omega - (same)
  Aftershave: Biotherm Aquapower - (from Proraso Lotion red)
  Apart from the "ingredients," I made a big change with very hot water and double the time in pre-shave and lathering massage. So, a very good softening of the hair (which is already soft).
  The result was day and night compared to the first 2 shaves. Good cutting, few tugs (hurriedly) and no irritation. Compared to the other blades I have, I now rank it slightly below the Astra green, which, however, requires minimal preparation. The razor is very mild, so I wouldn't expect a close shave, but at least the blades cut the hair!!
  I won't give it more than 3 stars because, although they eventually cut, compared to other blades, you have to do barber-like preparation, melt the hair, and then it will cut comfortably!!

  INITIAL EVALUATION ----- (1 Star)
  Blades that were included in the package of the corresponding razor series.
  In conclusion, the first shave was done with these blades, and it was a big disappointment.
  They don't even cut my relatively soft beard. They tug.
  Especially on the upper lip, it's very difficult to shave.
  I gave the blade a second chance with a good massage in pre-shave, but the result was the same.
  Note: The bad review for the bad blades should not affect the excellent Gillette King C razor, which transforms with other blades.
  Only trials will help you find the blade that suits you for an enjoyable traditional shave.
