I have it for a year. It has cut olives, eucalyptus, carob trees, cypress trees, mulberry trees.. Amazing shock absorbers, excellent balance, incredible power, fuel economy. I highly recommend it. Advice, do not put a 50cm blade on it, it will lose its balance. With the 45cm blade that I got, it does everything.
I have it here for 6 months...
It cuts very well and I cut thick trunks. I cut at least a 100-year-old olive tree with a diameter of 90cm and 1 meter long... very good machine!
I have had it since February 7th and so far I have cut 5 tons of wood. I am very satisfied, easy start, it doesn't get stuck anywhere, it cuts the logs like butter
After a cheap machine with the same features as the 450, Walbro carburetor and Oregon blade and chain, I have to say that as soon as I worked with the 450, I was blind and I saw. A powerful machine that is worth its money, with the same features as the cheap one for 180 euros that I had but with twice the power. You get what you pay for, not always but in this specific case it applies, especially when they have it for 369 euros
I have it for a few months but I can only say good things. Very powerful, lightweight, compact, starts easily and without vibrations! Very good choice and now on sale for 369€, a very good price! Get it without fear, but I have 4 Husqvarna without ever having to take them to a mechanic!
It is my first time buying and using an electric saw. They recommended it to me as one of the best for personal and even semi-professional use, and they were right. I wanted it to cut down large tree trunks that had fallen during the heavy snowfall period. If you follow the safety rules and someone shows you how to use it, it is really very effective even for very large trunks. It cuts through medium ones like "butter," while for large branches, it's just a piece of cake. It starts easily, is anti-vibration, and less noisy than older saws, which makes its use relatively comfortable. Of course, it does have some weight that you feel after a few minutes of continuous operation, where you want some rest. If someone has the budget for it, there is no reason to look for something less.
Having it since 2011, it has really cut everything. From small branches to one-meter trunks! Yes, one meter despite having a 45cm blade (2 passes and then gradually cutting). One of the best semi-professional chainsaws in its category and for its price. It was used professionally for at least 5 years, as due to the crisis-unemployment, some wood had to be sold. It worked at least 5 hours a day with short breaks whenever the fuel ran out. All of this, of course, always with Husqvarna lubricants (especially the fuel, personally I use the XPR for maximum engine protection, and a slightly higher oil ratio than recommended by the manufacturer). Cost is 2€ for 4 liters of gasoline. For God's sake, never lubricants from gas stations, otherwise it goes for cylinder-piston. Of course, fuel recycling should be done monthly because the octane levels drop, otherwise it acts as a fuel booster. A value for money that is worth every last euro.
After 2 years of use, I am disappointed. I wasted 450 euros for nothing. It is supposed to be semi-professional, but it couldn't even cut 30 tons of wood. It started having problems and I will never buy Husqvarna again
I tried it on 40-50cm trunks and it cut through them like butter! Very ergonomic, no need for screwdrivers, etc. for chain tensioning and you don't feel any vibrations. Powerful, lightweight, effortless! I'm not a professional, but it fully satisfied me when working on stubborn 15-20 ton trunks!
Positive points: low torque, easy access to air filter, spark plug, and tool-free blade-chain replacement.
