I have been using it for a year. Indeed, at first, it smelled like plastic and I thought I had thrown my money away. After a few uses, I noticed that the smell of plastic was decreasing. Eventually, after about 2 weeks, I think, it stopped smelling like plastic. Now it is my right hand, I cook non-stop with it. It hasn't suffered anything, it doesn't smell, it's not wasted money. I cook with very little oil or without any oil at all, which was important to me.
Value for money
It's great for one or two people
For potatoes, it takes about 30 minutes with frequent stirring
Chicken and burgers take about 45 minutes
But it makes amazing omelettes
It has served me well for cooking breakfast for the office
The construction is not good and this is evident in its price. Everything except the basket is made of plastic. It cooks normally, of course.
I do not recommend it, better to choose another one of better construction even if it has smaller capacity.
It does not fit much, to understand, a medium-sized schnitzel or a portion of potatoes if you want them to be crispy, or a leg and maybe a wing together. Everything cooks well, the chicken definitely needs 40 minutes. The plastics are very fake, my handle broke after 6 months of use and not daily. The good thing is that it does not smell the house after use, that it does not need much oil and you can make a healthy diet.
I did several tests and ended up with a temperature of 160 degrees for everything that cooks better. I dry the potatoes, put them in a bowl, add a little oil, salt, oregano, mix them and then put them for baking at 160 degrees for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
After one year and a replacement within 4 months, it suffered the exact same problem again. It overheats and due to the cheap material of construction, the plastic parts of the bin melt! Also, the handle of the detachable part of the bin has melted again and the screws came out in the food!! Do not buy it, with the same amount of money and something more, you can buy something of better quality
For its price, it is satisfactory with a large drum. Especially if you want to make a quantity for the family, it is just what you need. Although we are still in the early days, I can say that I am satisfied
Quite large bucket cooks without oil after 2 months 22/222 it takes a long time and although I clean it without wire the bucket rusts. That's how my bucket has become. Without a dishwasher and harsh cleaners 27/2/22
I feel like I wasted my money. The device barely heats up and doesn't fit its basket properly. You have to hit it, risking getting burned, in order for it to close properly. Its material must be of the lowest quality because even after multiple uses, it smells like cheap plastic throughout the house. Its cord is small. It can only fit up to 2 steaks and the cooking time is not as promised. Just stay away!
I have had it for 2 weeks and it is the best thing for someone who is on a diet. I can easily and quickly eat healthy. Chicken fillet in 15 minutes is the most delicious fillet I have ever eaten, potatoes take 30 minutes and you need to stir them frequently to avoid some of them remaining raw. It is definitely worth the money 100%.
P.S. I got it on sale for 59€
Very good product.
1. Huge bucket, fits a lot, not kidding. 1 kilo of potatoes at once.
2. Cooking times, so-so. 1 kilo of potatoes, homemade (not pre-fried) frozen ones, take 25-30 minutes. Village-style pork sausage takes around 18-20 minutes. Pancetta takes 25 minutes.
3. Perfect cooking. Potatoes, sausage, chicken, small pancetta, etc. Potatoes, with 1-2 tablespoons of oil, come out like fried.
4. No smells, no oil splatters.
5. Incredibly easy to clean the bucket.
6. Simple - practical control panel. Temperature - time and done. No digital operation, no programs.
I've had it for two weeks now and I've been using it a lot. Mainly village-style sausage and small potatoes.
Completely satisfied.
I wonder how I took so long to discover that such a machine exists.
The only thing I'm afraid of is that because of it, I will become 300 kilos, due to the incredible ease of cooking potatoes and village-style sausages.
