The card is built using a native single-chip design that fully leverages the capabilities of PCI Express (PCIe), while reducing CPU load by up to 48% compared to conventional bridged serial cards.

Compatibility

The card is compatible with a wide range of operating systems, including Windows® and Linux Kernel 2.6.11 to 4.11.x, and comes with a low-profile/half-height bracket installed, but includes an optional full-height bracket that allows the addition of 2 serial ports to almost any computer.
