Description

Independent operation

Its operation is independent, meaning it can function on its own without the need for connection to an oven. This means it can be placed anywhere in the kitchen that suits you best. It is suitable for combination with an above-counter oven, as the oven can be placed anywhere, regardless of the cooktop.

Touch Controls

The control for selecting the desired temperatures and settings is done digitally and via touch. All options are located at the bottom of the cooktop and are integrated into the surface. Therefore, all you need to start cooking is a few gentle touches with your finger.

Key lock function

It also features child safety lock, which ensures that the cooktop will not be accidentally activated. By pressing the lock button, all functions are disconnected and any cooktop can be quickly and easily secured. The cooktop can be unlocked by pressing the button again for a few seconds.

Automatic Pan Detection

If an appropriate utensil is not used or there is no utensil on the surface, a warning indicator will be activated.

Automatic shut-off

The cooktop will automatically turn off if the heat setting has not been changed within a certain period of time to avoid consumption.

Temperature Levels

It features 9 temperature levels, as well as a residual heat indicator so you know when the cooktop has cooled down.

Induction Cooktop Features

In induction cooktops, the cooking surface heats only under the cookware, using less than half the energy compared to standard cooktops. Cooking on an induction cooktop provides faster heating, improved thermal efficiency, and more precise control. Compared to conventional electric cooktops, induction cooktops can even halve the cooking time while consuming significantly less energy.

Induction cooktops are known for their extremely easy cleaning, as they only require a wipe with a damp cloth. Since only the cookware heats up, any spills on the cooktop surface do not burn.

Visually, the induction cooktop looks very similar to the ceramic one, but it uses electromagnetism instead of electricity. For this reason, special cookware with a magnetic base is required.

I bought it and I was completely disappointed.. They don't have brochures in Greek, but that's the least of it... The burners don't accommodate pots that don't have a similar diameter to the burners.. So, in order to make coffee, you have to use a pot and invite the whole apartment building to enjoy it... In other words, using a traditional coffee pot is absolutely forbidden. Here I should note that on an induction hob with a 20 cm diameter (I won't mention its name for obvious reasons) worth around 50 euros, you can easily use both a coffee pot and a pressure cooker!!! Heinner takes an unacceptable amount of time to boil water in a pot, as you need to have immense patience, especially on setting 9.. If you set it to 5, you will wait an infinite amount of time for it to heat up, while the similar hob with one burner I mentioned earlier boils water in 2 minutes on setting 5, using the same pot and the same amount of water... Not to mention the temperatures that Heinner develops around the hob, which are unacceptable for an induction hob, whereas on the similar hob with one burner, when boiling water in the coffee pot, you can touch it with your finger and it almost touches the pot without burning... In my complaints about the quality of the hob, a Heinner technician in Athens warned me that everything I mentioned is normal and within the hob's specifications, and that if he were to come and see the hob and find no issues (which of course he wouldn't, since these are its specifications), I would have to pay 35 euros + VAT.. Also, in my many contacts with the store, the conclusion was that if the technician in Athens didn't find it faulty, they couldn't replace it with another one, and I agreed to pay any price difference that would exist... Therefore, I decided to throw it in the trash because I wouldn't want to sell it to another naive person (like myself) even at half the price... And I will now buy another one that has at least the specifications of the induction hob with one burner that I mentioned...
