Dye in a container

  • Dissolve the dye in 1 kg of hot water
  • In a metal container, put 10 kg of hot water
  • Pour the dissolved dye into the container
  • Place the clothes in the container and stir while boiling for 45 minutes
  • Remove the clothes and rinse them with lukewarm water and dry them in the shade
  • For cotton, linen, viscose, cotton-wool blend, add 100 g of salt with the dye

  • When the washing machine completes the cycle, add liquid detergent

In a 100% cotton garment, it has a very nice result, but... even though it says it is fade-resistant dye, after several washes the result fades.

Below average in color performance, the light gray shirt turned into a dark gray after two dyeings, and still did not come close to black. With the money spent on dye, a kilo of salt, and 3-4 washes needed, it costs me less to buy two new shirts

As a dye, it's good, but it clogged the washing machine filter.
