I bought this air wrench with the intention of using it very rarely. I still have 4 similar air wrenches, of lower power, suitable for passenger cars. The most powerful of the other air wrenches I have has a loosening power of 130 kilograms. However, there were some rare occasions where I encountered screws that were impossible to unscrew. For those who may wonder if I used impact or flame heating, where possible, I answer that yes, I have done it many times. Recently, I replaced the socket wrench you see in the photo with a 22mm one, which is one of the largest ones you can find for a passenger car. I thought of doing a test to see if my new air wrench is powerful enough. I put a 38mm socket that fits snugly on the socket wrench and started screwing the 32mm screw of the socket wrench, using the other air wrenches I have, reaching the most powerful one I had, which is 130 kilograms. My goal was to cut the sockets, which is very difficult with these sizes. After exhausting my most powerful air wrench for a while, I also did the final test with my new acquisition. The result can be seen in the photos. It didn't cut the sockets, but it never stopped rotating while screwing the 32mm screw, slowly and pressing the large socket wrench on the square of the socket wrench, until it made a square on the socket wrench due to the immense pressure!!! Truly impressive. I write again for the experts, that the air hose I use is 8 millimeters in diameter, 25 meters long spiral, which means that with a shorter hose, the power would be even greater. Also, the compressor I have has a capacity of 150 liters, which means that the air pressure was constantly at 6.2 bar. I cannot know how durable it is over time, and logically I will not find out since I will use it very rarely. IMPORTANT: It is not suitable for screwing any screws on passenger vehicles, as the minimum screwing power is 50 kilograms on the first scale and 170 on the second. The loosening power is enormous for a half-inch air wrench, 196 kilograms!!! which I haven't had to test so far. I have a question for which I couldn't find an answer, if anyone knows, please write a comment. While the box and the air wrench itself say 1700Nm, everyone writes that the power in kilograms is 196 kilograms, which corresponds to approximately 1930 Nm, and because in Greece we are all over the place, I looked it up and saw that the same is written on the English Amazon. Unless with the 1700Nm, they refer to the maximum tightening power and not the loosening power. If I have any updates, I will inform you.
