I have been a owner of this mousepad for almost half a year, and overall it is excellent, and the two extra USB ports it has seem unnecessary until you realize that at some point you will actually need them! Beyond that, the 4 stars are purely for the Corsair software that I have and as I see it, I will continue to have because there has been no update and nothing has been resolved despite the bug reports that have been made for so long by several users! I recommend it for the quality, but expect the software to give you a bit of trouble with some bugs that it experiences sometimes!
Overall, it's very good as a mouse pad that offers RGB and an extra port on it either for the mouse's USB or for anything else you want. The negative I personally have, I don't know if it happens to others, but at the point where the mouse moves, the material wears out, at least for me it did, resulting in a significant loss of clarity in my games. I got it for 60 euros and the material lasted 6 months for me. And be careful not to clean mouse pads with wet wipes.
Amazing mousepad, I expected nothing less from Corsair. As a owner of the SteelSeries Qck prism XXL, I have to say that the mouse feels better on the Corsair and the LED strip has much more evenly distributed colors, meaning it doesn't lose brightness at any point, while on the SteelSeries the light was strong near the hub and from there it was quite "defused." A plus is that its hub has two USB ports ready for you to plug in flash drives or anything else you want, which is very positive for someone who doesn't have the computer close by or doesn't have free ports on the PC. I hope it lasts long enough because 60 euros for a mousepad is not exactly cheap.
EDIT: For the past 2-3 months, the mouse has started to lose tracking to a significant degree. At first, I wasn't sure if it was the mouse or the mousepad, but after trying another mouse, the problem persisted. Simply unacceptable for a mousepad that costs 60 euros. It seems Corsair forgot that they should first make the surface durable and then focus on the bells and whistles.
I recently purchased the aforementioned mousepad. It is truly of high quality, nice to the touch, and the RGB lighting is fantastic. However, it is quite surprising to me that no one else experienced any issues with the RGB lighting. From the first day, the RGB lights would turn on during boot and then turn off until I logged into my PC. If I plug and unplug the USB, the RGB works fine without any issues. I tried all the ports, obviously I have iCue, I updated the software and firmware, but still nothing. Searching online, I noticed that this is a common issue, so I contacted Corsair and they told me to send it back for a replacement.
Update 3/10: I received a replacement from Corsair in the Netherlands within a week and it is working as it should.
Coming from the "Corsair MM800 hard surface" and I can say that this particular one suited me much better, of course it depends on each person's preferences.
- If you play FPS Games with low sensitivity and want large movements with a surface that "forgives", then this is the right mousepad for you.
- Very nice design for RGB enthusiasts that will cover the largest surface of the desk.
- Additionally, it provides a USB port with the Corsair logo on top (illuminated).
+For the configuration of RGB functions, you will need the Corsair "iCUE" software.
One of the best mouse pads I have purchased.
The RGB lighting is amazing and doesn't bother the eyes.
The mouse I have is a Logitech G Pro X Superlight and glides perfectly on the mouse pad.
Having read several positive things and watched many reviews, I decided to buy it, to complete my set... After some time, it stopped working for no reason... Having tried everything, I couldn't restore it... It's on its way back for a replacement... Among its cons, it never "fit" in my office, and its low durability.
Very nice fabric quality, very nice and satisfactory lighting, nice mouse scrolling, perfect compatibility with Corsair iCue.... Overall, it is a very nice and good product. I got it at a lower price through a coupon. I don't know if I would have paid 70 euros (including shipping), but okay, that's up to each person. However, as soon as it entered the office, the whole appearance changed immediately.
It is very beautiful, it needs to be weighted the first week until it straightens well. It synced with the rest of the Corsair products without even needing to enter iCue, it takes up one USB port and gives you two. The only negative for me is that it is black and gets dirty very easily.
I recently received it as a gift and I must say that its quality is very good. It is sturdy, doesn't slip with a nice feel in the hand and texture. It has 2 USB ports which are very useful for those who don't have a port on their keyboard and need to juggle to insert a USB stick. The colors work perfectly with ICUE and overall it also serves as a blanket due to its size. That's it.
